Charles drove into the compound and packed. He could see his parents waiting outside and young children already enjoying themselves at the nearby swimming pool.

"Grandma! Grandma!" Bryan ran to meet his grandparents.

"My boy! How are you?" His grandma asked.

"I'm fine!"

"Bryan!" Bryan turned his head in the direction of the voice and was quite surprised.

"Jessy! What are you doing here?!"

"I was invited to come, your dad invited me," Jessy explained.

"Young girl. Who is your dad?" Peter asked little Jessica.

"My dad is over there. He is Rhema Black."

"Ooohhh! Rhema. It's been long I've seen that young man. Where do you say he is?"

"Over there!" Jessy pointed, Peter could see both his son and the young man assumed to be Rhema. He has grown into a fine young man.

"Let's go!" Bryan said and both Jessy and Bryan left their grandparents to play.

Rose stepped forward to where Charles' parents were.

"Good afternoon ma, good afternoon sir!" She greeted them.

"Rose, how are you?" Evelyn asked.

"I'm fine!"

Just then, Rhema and Charles came to greet also.

"Rhema, long time."

"Good afternoon sir." Rhema greeted.

"Long time o, how are you nau?" Peter asked.

"I'm fine sir. Good afternoon ma."

"Rhema how are you?"

"I'm fine."

"So, you're married right?" Evelyn asked bluntly.

"Yes, ma."

"So where is your wife?"

"She didn't come ma. She's at home tending to our newborn baby." Rhema said.

"Wow! She just delivered?"

"Kinda! T'was about a month now."

"That's wonderful! It's great news!"

"Thank you ma."

"Mom, dad, I and Rose will be going now."

"You both are going somewhere?"

"Yes, we are, we will come back later to pick Bryan."

"Or you shouldn't think about it twice." She winked at them and Rose blushed understanding what she meant. "Enjoy your day without Bryan."

"We will."

"Ma, Sir. I'll be on my way too." Rhema said not wanting to be left alone there.

"Alright."

"So where are we going?" Rose asked as they were both inside Charles' car.

"A surprise." He said.

Rose checked her time, "time runs fast." She said.

"What says the time?" He asked.

"It's five minutes past the hour of four."

"Then that's perfect for our date."

"What kind of date?"

"We shall see."

It was about twenty minutes later that Charles parked his car opposite an exquisite-looking restaurant.
