'Text' = Michigan's thoughts

Michigan woke up from a long nap just to see Massachusetts staring at him, looking worried as heck.
'Weird... His hair tip... Wasn't it blue before? Did he dye it to green for aesthetics?'

"Uh... Maxwell? Since when did you dye your hair tip to green?" Michigan asked while still lying on the bed. 'Maxwell looked shocked. What, is there something wrong?'

"Marcus... it was blue the whole time." Massachusetts said, eyes wide open in fear. Michigan frowned. "Wait what?? No wait. Your eyes... They turned green! Aren't they indigo before??" Michigan jolted up, cupping the other's cheeks just to look at his eyes. "No, they're not green! They ARE indigo!! We- Do you even remember anything before this happened?" Massachusetts shook the State Up North. He looked afraid. He was sweating, but the weather wasn't that hot. "Um... I-I remember Ohio was with me, and I got hit by some weird ass magic at the head... Then everything went black." Michigan replied. Quite ironic that Ohio was with him, but that wasn't the main point.

Massachusetts went silent. He then went out of the door, took Florida's otter plushie and came back in. "What colour is the otter?" He asked. Michigan squinted his eyes and replied, "Red?" "Fuck." Massachusetts cursed and ran out of the room with the plushie. Michigan could hear him pulling poor Iowa into the room. "What colour are his eyes?" He asked. Iowa was puzzled. "What? My eyes are Sienna. What's wrong-" "I see... dark pink. For no reason." Michigan cut Iowa off with his reply, leaving the other 2 shocked. "Dark pink?!" Iowa screamed. Michigan nodded.

"We... We need to get your eyes checked. Can you tell me what colors do you see?" Massachusetts asked again, even worried. Michigan looked around the room. "All the colors I see are pink and turquoise. And white. That's it." He replied. Massachusetts pulled Michigan's arm and ran out of the dorm immediately.

"What!?" Everyone gasped. It's official—Michigan has tritanopia. The states then kept on lifting up blue things to test whether he was bluffing or not. And he wasn't. "Guys, I told you, I see green! I can't see blue anymore! For now- I dunno if this could be healed..." Michigan said. Everyone started to worry for him.

"It's okay, at least I'm not blind! It doesn't affect me that much. I think." Michigan assured. Everyone stopped their worries. For now.
