In the present, Marcus is the noisy older brother while Marco is the quiet younger brother.

Yet in the past, their personalities were reversed.

Marcus was the quiet one while Marco was the noisy one.

So in short, a boy holding a wand (Harry Potter wannabe lmao) used a curse/spell on Marco and caused short term amnesia on him, and then he stayed in the hospital for a while.

The house was dead quiet so Marcus tried to lighten up the mood by adopting his brother's personality, slowly adapting to it during the process.

Marco, on the other hand, forgot the people he had met (except for his family) and lost all contact to all of them, and gave up finding them in the end and adopted his brother's original personality.
