Aeroflot Flight 4225, registered as Charlie Charlie Charlie Papa- 85355 (CCCP-85355), was a Tupolev Tu-154B-2 on a scheduled domestic passenger flight from Alma-Ata Airport (Now Almaty, IATA: ALA, ICAO: UAAA), Kazakhstan to Simferopol Airport (IATA:SIP, ICAO: UKFF), Ukraine on the 8th of July 1980, the plane reached an altitude of 500 feet when the airspeed dropped, this caused the plane to stall less than 5 kilometres from the airport in Kazakhstan, the plane crashed and it caught fire, all 156 passengers and 10 crew (166 in total) on board the plane were killed in the crash, which makes it the deadliest aviation accident in Kazakhstan history.
At the time of the accident Alma-Ata was experimenting a heatwave, it was around 00:39am local time and Flight 4225 took off from Alma-Ata airport in Soviet Kazakhstan, only a few seconds after takeoff the flight reached 500 feet, the weather was not on the flight's side; the plane reached a zone of hot air and then the soviet aircraft's speed dramatically dropped and the plane caught in a big downdraft, the Tupolev stalled and plummeted nose down into a farm near the suburb of Alma-Ata, the plane then slid into a ravine and caught fire and the plane disintegrated, the fire killed everyone on board the plane.
The summary of the crash was a Microburst induced wind shear, loss of airspeed due to thermal currents causing a stall.
