Airblue Flight 202, registered as Alpha Papa- Bravo Juliet Bravo (AP-BJB), was a scheduled Pakistani domestic passenger flight from Jinnah International Airport (IATA: KHI, ICAO: OPKC), Karachi, Pakistan to the nation's capital of Benazir Bhutto International Airport (IATA: ISB, ICAO: OPRN), Islamabad, Pakistan, on the 28th of July 2010, the Airbus A321-231 jet airliner serving this flight crashed into Margalla Hills, north of Islamabad's Benazir Bhutto International Airport, the crash killed all 146 passengers and 6 crew (152 in total) who were on board the plane, the crash is the deadliest air accident to occur in Pakistan to date and it was the first fatal crash that involved an Airbus A321 aircraft.

The plane approached Islamabad from the southeast following a procedure that required it to fly toward the airport until making visual contact, it was then to fly around the airport to the east and north, keeping within a distance of 5 nautical miles (9.3 kilometres), until lining up with Runway 12, which faces toward the southeast, the aircraft cashed in the mountains outside the 5 nautical miles (9.3 kilometres), it was approximately 8 nautical miles (15 kilometres) north of the airport, facing almost to the west, before the plane could line up with Runway 12 for final approach, the crew didn't send any emergency signal prior to the crash, the aircraft was at 2,600 feet as it approached Islamabad but went back up to 3,000 feet before it eventually crashed into the mountainside.

The summary of the crash was Controlled Flight into Terrain caused by Pilot error.
