RwandAir Flight 205, registered as 5 Yankee- Juliet Lima Delta (5Y-JLD), was a Canadair CRJ-100 aircraft that crashed into the Terminal Building after it performed an emergency landing at Kigali, Rwanda, which killed one passenger, the flight was operated by JetLink Express on behalf of RwandAir, in the aftermath of the accident, RwandAir suspended all operations with JetLink Express.

The flight took off from Kigali International Airport (IATA: KGL, ICAO: HRYR), Kigali, Rwanda, shortly after takeoff the pilots informed ATC that the left thrust laver had become jammed at the takeoff power settings, the pilot's didn't utilise the thrust lever jammed abnormal checklist procedure and instead they immediately returned to the airport with the right thrust lever (which was adjustable) at idle, the plane landed shortly after 11:30am local time, the aircraft stopped short of the VIP Terminal Building, but the plane lurched forward as the chocks were being put in place, this caused the aircraft to crash into the VIP Terminal, a fire followed after the accident but it was put out, the co-pilot was eventually freed from the wreckage three hours after the crash occurred, of the 10 passengers and 5 crew (15 in total) on the plane survived the initial crash with injuries to 10 people on the aircraft and in the VIP Terminal, one female passenger died shortly after arriving at a local hospital.

The summary of the incident/crash was a Ground collision with the Terminal building.
