(Marcus pov)
"Alright, Marcus get up, stop sulking. Let's go drown your sorrows in some drinks."
I lay on my stomach on my bed thinking about the messed up shit I did. Why the hell did I listen to him? Did I mean to say that to her? She's not a burden to me, she gave me hope that maybe I do have a purpose in this life.
"Go away and let me die here."
"C'mon man, the first step on getting Esmerelda back is getting your shit together. Take a shower and gather your thoughts. I will be back with Saya and Maria, they would most likely help you."
I get up and walk to my bathroom while walking extremely slowly.
Billy goes and knocks on Saya and Maria's room, Maria opens the door and rolls her eyes at Billy.
"What do you want Billy? We were having a dance party." She crosses her arms.
"Can you please help me get Marcus back with Esmerelda? The guy is fucking miserable-"
"We heard what happened and hell no. That's his fault, Esmerelda is our best friend, and what he said was beyond disrespectful and disgusting. I didn't even know he was capable of saying that to someone especially Esmerelda."
"Since Marcus has the balls to say that shit then he's man enough to figure this out on his own," Saya says.
"But that's the thing she left and we don't where she is, Jayden won't tell us because he's furious and will kill Marcus if he takes a look at him. Lin was getting inside his head and making him overthink everything. At least just come with me to talk to him."
"Ughhhh fine," Maria yells.
Once I finished the shower, Maria, saya, and Billy both look at me with death stares.
"You're a dick." Saya breaks the silence.
"I get it I fucked up, but I wanna make things right. I just need your help, I don't know what's wrong with me. If I die because of this I at least want her to know that I never meant what I said."
"Do you honestly think that she will take you back after everything you said? I know her well enough to know that somewhere in that heart of hers she will always love you but you need to remember. She tells you shit because she trusts you not to use it against her, I know you wanna be selfish but is this right for the both of you?"
She's right, I am being selfish. Esmerelda looks happy when she's with Andrew but somehow I know we're destined to be together. No one or anything could change that.
"It's up to her whether or not she wants to take me back, but I at least need to make amends with her. So please help me."
"You'll be your protection, Jayden is not gonna let this go without a fight. For now, lay low, Esmerelda's boys are smart and have great snipers so be careful. Be aware of your surroundings, don't go outside unless you're with one of us." Saya says
"Alright, did she ever mention to you guys where she lived when she was a child?" I ask.
"She never talked to us about her life Marcus," Maria says frustratingly.
"Wait hold on, I think I know where to start looking but it could take all night."
Then out of nowhere, a loud explosion struck, and screaming starts to become very loud.
(Jayden's pov)
After exchanging a few punches with Marcus, I get immediately in my car and drive to my house.
"Y a ti que te paso? Con quien te pelaste?"
(Translation: And what happened to you? With who did you get in a fight?)
