Esmerelda and Marcus head to her house.

"Grab them."

"What hell are you doing tío?"

"I'm just welcoming Marcus into the family."

"Don't hurt him!"

"Relax mija, he'll be fine."

They tie Marcus in a chair while they are holding Esmerelda back.

"Get her out of here."

They take Esmerelda away and put her in a room.

"I swear Diego if you don't let me go I will fucking shoot your ass."

"Sorry, just following the bosses orders."

"Orders my ass."

Christopher (Esmerelda's uncle) takes out his switch blade and holds it up to Marcus's neck.

"So Marcus I'm going to make this simple what are your intentions with my niece?"

Marcus tries to show no fear and clenched his jaw.

"To love and care for her, sir."

"How exactly would you show her that you love her?not in a sexual way of course"

"To respect her boundaries and be there for her whenever she needs me to be."

"Good, would you ever betray her?"

He begins to press the blade again Marcus's arm.

"No."

"Would you die for her?"

"Yes."

He continues to press the blade and soon draws blood.

"That's too easy, would live for her?"

"Yes."

"Care to elaborate on that?"

"I've had one crappie life before I met her, she changed me for the better. She made me believe maybe their is a purpose in life after all, especially the shit it's filled with. I owe her my life, she saved me when no one else was their to guide me in the right direction."

"Good, do you see a future with her?"

"I wanna marry your niece and make her my wife. I want her to be the only girl that I love for the rest of my life."

"what's your story kid?"

"Before I went to kings dominion I was homeless. I'm a orphan, my parents died in front of my eyes. It traumatized me at first, I was constantly in and out of foster homes. Until I was put back into a home for trouble youths. Specifically a orphanage, I had a not so nice roommate, he ate my food and turned my life into a living hell. One day I got tired of his bullshit and I poisoned him then I realized I had matches on me. I knew I could of used this time to escape So I lit the placed on fire and it burned down. Everyone died except me and I ended up on the streets. Their was this one guy who fucked with everyone, whatever we found that would be his. Enough was enough so I tried to beat the shit out of him and almost died, I had a broken femur and this scar on my face. I'm wanted by every single police officer in the area, I have been for 6 years and I was never caught."

"How do you feel about joining the gang?"

"It would be a pleasure sir, I'm not sure if I'm exactly a right fit."

"You've had a hard life kid. I find it astonishing that you have the balls to talk about your life as if nothing happened. It's good that Esmerelda has someone in her life that understands her. She hasn't had a chance to have a normal life as she wishes to have, ever since she lost her parents she hasn't been the same. I would barely see her smile. Ever since she began to see you, it's like she's a different person. Her face just glows up, I promised her parents to treat and raised her as if she was my own child.
