When they got home Esmeralda immediately goes to her room and throws off her heels and goes to shower. Once she sees the blood drip off of her body and hands, she starts looking at her scar on her stomach then she starts getting flashbacks to when her parents were killed.
12 years ago.....
5 year old Esmeralda was playing hide n seek with her parents. Her mother was 8 months pregnant with her little brother. They were a loving family.
"Adonde estás esme? Yo te voy a contar"
( Translation: where are you esme, I'm going to find you.)
Esmeralda giggles and tries to stay as quiet as she can. But soon they both find her hiding in her room with her stuffed animals. Her mother starts to tickle her and they are all just laughing and having a good time. Then they hear someone screaming and bullets shot everywhere.
"Amador! Where the fuck are you piece of shit." A unknown voice said.
Amador immediately goes into Esmeralda's closet and grabs a gun that he secretly keeps in their and tells his wife and daughter to go hide in the safe room.
"No I'm not going." Sofia said to Amador.
"Amor estas embarazada, you have to be safe with Esmeralda."
"When we got married, we promised each other to protect one other including our child."
"Fine, just grab a gun and take Esmeralda to the safe room then come find me. I'm calling your brother for help."
"No! I said we weren't gonna receive his help."
"We don't have another choice, I'm going to call him."
He kneels down to Esmeralda and kisses her forehead.
"Mija remember I will always love you esme, con todo mi corazón. I will always be in your heart."
"I love you too papa."
She hugs her mom and dad then a bullet goes through the window.
"Run now!"
Esmeralda starts running to the safe room in the basement and covers her ears to avoid listening to the screams from her parents. She starts to cry then the immediately hears silence. She comes out of the room and sees her parents on the ground with their blood spilled all over the floor. She notices her father has a necklace in his hand with her name on it. She grabs it and puts it around her neck.

A guy comes out of nowhere and starts running after her with a knife. She kept trying pry the door open and he slightly cuts her in her stomach. She starts to cry and sees a gun on the ground and almost shoots but instead shoots his partner.
"You little bitch!"
End of flashback
"I'm gonna go check on her." Marcus says
"I'm gonna go get the ice cream ready." Jayden says
"Why is that?" Billy says
"She eats ice cream when she's sad, she has a truck come once a week."
"Respect right there." Lex says
"Not the time for jokes lex." Saya says
"What?, I'm being serious."
They all go to their rooms to get changed.
(Her clothes after the shower)

Marcus goes to her room and sees her looking at her necklace that her dad gave her.
"Hey." She immediately looks at him and puts her necklace away.
"Are you okay?"
She nods and gives him a small smile. He comes up to her wraps his arms around her waist while his chin is resting on her shoulder.
"Are you Sure?" He whispers in her ear. She turns around and looks at him. She puts her hand his cheek.
"I'm fine... let's go downstairs I'm in the mood for ice cream."
He chuckles and then gives her a quick peck on the lips.
"Yeah Whatever you need."
He grabs her hand and heads in to the kitchen where they are all standing. Jayden gives her a spoon with a bucket of chocolate chip ice cream. She sits on the couch.
"Thanks."
"Anytime." Jayden says
"Look, I'm sorry about tonight we could of all been killed it was my fault,"
"No it was my fault Chico told me not to go with you, that's why he came to the bar. I'm so sorry Esmeralda. I never wanted to do that to you." Maria said
"It's not your fault Chico is a raging lunatic."
Both Maria and Esmeralda hug each other.
"What a lovely friendship." Billy says
"Shut up billy."
"Yo esmeralda how do you know Chico?" Willie said.
"Me and chico used to be best friends until he betrayed me. He was selling information to someone else. The last night that I saw Chico he confessed his feelings for me but I said I only saw him as a brother and he was fucking pissed. until that day I never saw he again until I started go to school at kings dominion. You know Chico used to be nice, until he started becoming a daddy's boy."
"Chico Nice? Those are two words I never thought would go together." Marcus said
They laughed and talked a lot more. Then they soon went to bed.
