Chapter 23 - back to school

I get in the car with Jayden and we drive off to school. I swear I just wanna rain hell on earth, it's to show that no one messes with me.

"Your sure do seem happy, don't tell me your gonna create a massacre. Between you and me, I'm so in."

We both laugh at his comment and soon relax.

"It's nice to see you smile again Esmerelda."

"Awww That's why your my favorite my cousin."

"I appreciate it, I'm kinda digging the new hair, I'm just waiting for you to dye it."

"I was planning on it but I want it to breathe. I just cut off so much hair so I don't wanna rush into anything."

We soon get to the school and I walk through the halls. Everyone starts to stare at me. I soon see Marcus talking to Billy near where my room is.

"Esmerelda?"

I walk in between Billy and Marcus then push them to the side. I go in my room to see Maria having a mental breakdown. I look at her up and down and I start to pack my stuff. Thank god I'm moving rooms.

"Esmerelda I'm so sorry, I know I messed up please I need your help."

"Why would I help you? Your fucking ruined my life, you don't know what shit I had to go through these past few weeks. Karmas a bitch."

"You may not help me but think about Marcus, saya, willie, Billy, and lex. They need your help, Chico's dad has been coming to kings dominion for the past few weeks to find out where's Chico. You know that he doesn't ask questions."

"What exactly do you want me to do?"

"Talk to him, I know you two we're close maybe you can help us-"

"You don't understand Maria I'm apart of this, if he finds out that I was there this isn't gonna end so nicely, I can't really do anything you pulled that trigger not me. I can't risk a gang war."

I was about to leave until she grabs my arm, I yank it out her grasp.

"They already pulled saya and willie in for questioning, they came out in blood, I'm next after lex, then it's Marcus. I know you still have feelings for him-"

"There isn't "I know" that's because I don't, you can finally have him. I'm done with Marcus, we were never meant to work out, it's funny how I was so blind to realize that I actually don't care."

I take a box from my stuff and I realized that my room is next to Marcus's.

"Oh fuck me."

"I was waiting for you to say that."

I recognized who was behind me.

"What do you want? I have nothing to do with you."

"Can we please just talk?"

"What? Are you going to tell me that you slept with other girls when we were dating? Trust me I wouldn't be surprised."

I turn away to open my door but he stands right in front the door.

"Okay i deserve that but please I just wanna sort things out between us."

Someone immediately puts their on our mouths and we knock out. Immediately everything turned black, a few moments later I wake up tied to a chair. I start to move around to try and see if I can escape but even my arms are useless.

"There's no point of moving Esmerelda, you can't get out."

"Why is it your always the center of my problems?" Master Lin said
