You walk up the apron of Firehouse 51 and see your boyfriend sitting at the Squad table.
"Hey, Y/N," Capp yells.
Kelly looks up from his book in surprise.
"What are you doing here," he asks, kissing your temple.
"I was dropping something off at a friend's place a few streets over," you tell him.
An old friend of yours just had a baby and you had some old toys from when you babysat your younger cousins in college, so you gave them to her.
"What were you dropping off," Hermann asks from where he was doing inventory.
"Some old baby toys for her son that I had from my babysitting days."
"Hey there, Y/N," Cruz says, walking out from the bunk room.
"Hi, Joe."
"You want some coffee, " your boyfriend asks.
"Yeah, I could go for a cup," you reply.
You follow him into the common room and see Brett sitting at the table.
"Hey, Sylvie."
"Hi, Y/N."
Mouch gives you a nod, which you return, while Kelly pours you some coffee. You feel someone hug you from behind. You look and see Matt standing behind you.
"Hello to you, too, Casey," you chuckle.
"How've you been," he asks.
"Pretty good."
Kelly hands you the cup and you accept it gratefully.
"Y/N, I didn't know you were here," Boden says, walking in.
"I was in the neighborhood."
You chat with everyone for a few minutes before putting your cup in the sink.
"I have a few more errands to run, but I'll see you guys at Molly's tonight," you say, walking to the door with Kelly in tow.
You walk out to your car and hug your boyfriend until you hear the bells go off, calling for Squad 3 and Truck 81.
"Go save the world, Sev," you say, pecking his lips.
"I'll see you tonight," he yells, running backward.
A few hours later, you were sitting at the table Squad had snagged with your boyfriend's arm around your shoulders.
"What you'd do the rest of the day," Tony asks.
"Did some shopping, called my cousin since it's his birthday, cleaned up a little, and that's about it," you shrug, taking a sip of your beer.
"Which cousin," your boyfriend asks.
"The baseball player. He has a game tomorrow. I'll send you the link since you'll be on shift," you tell him.
"How old is he now, your cousin," Capp asks.
"He turned 21 today."
"Invite him to Molly's. He's family," Cruz suggests.
"I think I will," you say, looking at the door while smirking.
They turn their heads when you wave to someone.
"Happy 21st, cous," you say while hugging him.
"Thanks, Y/N. Kelly, good seeing you again," he says, shaking your boyfriend's hand.
"You, too, Caleb," Kelly tells him.
"Hey, Hermann, his drinks go on my tab," you yell to the older firefighter behind the bar.
"You got it, Y/N!"
