Summary: Your ex-husband kidnaps your son.

Your ex-husband's name is Kyle

As usual, Antonio didn't know what to expect when he walked into work that morning. He most certainly wasn't expecting to see your tear-stained face standing in the room.

"Y/N, what happened?"

"They took Carson," you sob into his chest.

"Who took Carson," he asks.

"We don't know," Erin says.

Antonio thinks for a minute before rage fills him.

"Y/N, look at me."

You pull away and look at your best friend.

"Was it Kyle?"

You take a breath and start sobbing again.

"Who's Kyle," Jay asks.

"Kyle's her ex-husband. She got full custody of Carson and filed a restraining order against the bastard," Antonio explains.

"Alright. Lindsay and Halstead, check the list of places Y/N gave us. Al, take Ruzek and find this Kyle person. I'll have Atwater and Burgess keep an eye out," Voight explains.

The sergeant gives Antonio a look and the latter takes you into the break room. You sit on the couch and curl into his side. The tears slowed, knowing that your best friend's team was out looking for Carson. Antonio had texted Gabby what happened and she replied, saying she was gonna come by the precinct with some of the crew when they got off shift that afternoon. Around five, Gabby, along with Shay, Matt, Severide, and Mills, walked into the station after Erin and Jay. Gabby led everyone to the break room, where you sat, still curled into Antonio's side, the latter rubbing your arm. Gabby and Shay pulled you from the couch and squeezed you tightly.

"How is she," Peter asks your best friend.

"We think it was her ex-husband. He's violated the restraining order she has against him too many times to count," he explains.

"What exactly happened," Matt asks.

"She woke up and went to get Carson ready for school, finding his empty room."

"Why the fuck would he do this," Severide questions.

"Because he's a bastard that's pissed off he got no visitation rights in the custody battle following the divorce," Antonio replies.

You pull away from the girls and Peter embraces you, sobs racking your body.

"Hey, Will just texted that a boy matching Carson's description was brought into Med," Jay whispers.

"Go check it out and let me know," Antonio tells him.

Later that evening, Jay texted Antonio, saying that the boy was, in fact, your son. Antonio released his breath and went to find you. He walked into the break room and you stood up.

"A little boy matching Carson's description was brought to Med a few hours ago and Jay went to confirm."

"Was it him," you ask quietly.

"It was Carson. He's fine. A little scared but fine. They got Kyle and arrested him for kidnapping. You won't have to worry about him anymore."

The girls choke back sobs as the guys relax. You throw yourself onto your best friend and sob. Antonio takes you to Med and you see Will holding Carson in his arms.

"Mama," your son yells when he sees you.

"Mama's here baby," you say, taking your boy from Will.

You hold him tightly, tears threatening to spill.

"Thank you. All of you," you say, looking at everyone.
