Summary: The reader is sick and Mac takes care of her.

Mac woke up to the sound of you throwing up in the bathroom. He got up and walks over to you, pulling your hair back. He rubs small circles on your back as you puke your guts out.
"You alright," he asks when you finish.
"Maybe. I'm almost never sick, though," you groan.
"Go back to bed. I'm gonna take a sick day to take care of you," he says, helping you up.
You nod and climb back into bed. You hear Mac talking to someone, probably Jack or Matty.
"Yeah, probably something we ate. Uh-huh. Thanks, Jack."
He hangs up and comes back into the room.
"Jack's gonna explain to Matty that we're both sick," he tells you.
You just nod your head tiredly.
"Get some rest. I'll be here when you wake up," he says, kissing your temple.
You close your eyes and let sleep consume you. You wake up again around 1:30 with the urge to throw up. You run into the bathroom with Mac hot on your tail. You fall back asleep and wake up around 6. You walk into the kitchen and see your boyfriend making some food. He slides you a bowl of soup and some crackers. You eat slowly so you don't upset your stomach again.
"Maybe it was to sushi we had last night," you say, breaking the silence.
"Maybe, but there's also that stomach bug going around," Mac mentions.
You nod and eat your soup. The rest of the night is spent cuddling and watching movies, with the occasional running to the bathroom to throw up. The next morning, the two of you walk into the Phoenix hand-in-hand. You explain to Matty that you both had a stomach bug and she was understanding.
"Alright, now that everyone is feeling better, we have crisis to avert," she says, motioning to the screen in the war room.
