Summary: The reader goes in for a police raid and Will worries about his girlfriend.

Will's stomach did not sit well with him as he read your text before he started his shift.

You: Jay and I are doing a raid today, just a heads up.

Throughout the morning, Connor notices his best friend is a little off his game. During their break, Connor questioned Will.

"Y/N and Jay are doing a raid, and I'm a little worried about her," Will admits to his best friend.

"They got this. Let me know if you hear anything," he tells him.

As you and Jay prepare to go into the building, you can't help but feel uneasy.

"Hey, we've done hundreds of these. We'll be fine," he tells you.

You nod and sigh. You strap on your vest and load your gun. Jay kicks the door down and you go inside.

"CPD! On the ground, now," you yell.

Ruzek and Atwater take the suspects outside while you and Jay look around. A device with a countdown catches your attention.

"JAY! There's a bomb in the other room," you yell to your partner as you run past.

He runs after you and you duck behind a squad car.

"Everybody get down! There's a bomb," he yells.

The building explodes and less than ten minutes later, Firehouse 51 pulls up. Brett and Foster run over to you and Jay.

"Are you guys alright," Brett asks.

"Yeah, just a little rattled," Jay tells her.

"We're gonna take you guys to Med either way," Foster tells him.

You guys nod and hop in the back of the ambulance. Ethan Choi takes the both of you when you get there and Jay gives Connor a look. He sets his tablet down and runs to find Will.

"Hey, Jay and Y/N just showed up with Brett and Foster," he tells him.

Will races to the room Ethan took you to as he walks out.

"They're fine, Will. Just a little rattled and few cuts," Dr. Choi tells him, moving the curtain to let him in.

Jay hugs his brother before leaving you two alone. Will pulls you into a tight hug.

"I've been worried ever since you texted me this morning," he mumbles in your ear.

"I had an uneasy feeling before we went inside."

"I'm so glad you're alright, baby."

"I will always come back to you," you reply, kissing him.
