You took your final bow before the curtain dropped, allowing you to head to your dressing room. You changed out of your costume and took your makeup off. You grabbed your bag and said your good-byes, opting to skip the stage door so you could make your flight on time. You were taking a week off and heading to Los Angeles to see your best friend. You went back to your apartment and grabbed your bags. Ten hours later, you walked out of LAX and got an Uber, giving the driver the address of Kensi's workplace. You arrived and you got out, smiling when you saw Deeks standing outside. He was the only person who knew you were coming to see Kensi.

"Hey, Deeks," you say, embracing him.

"Hey, Y/N."

"So, Kensi still doesn't know?"

"Not a clue. I did fill everyone else in though."

"That's fine. As long as your girlfriend doesn't know."

When Kensi called you and said Deeks asked her to be his girlfriend, you were so happy for her. You met Kensi in high school and hit it off instantly. She supported you with your theater activities, coming to every show, helping with every fundraiser, even coming to the set-building sessions on weekends. She came to the show you made your Broadway debut in with the team a few years ago, too. You walked into the building and she screamed when she saw you hugging Rountree.

"What are you doing here," she squeals, throwing her arms around you.

"I took a week to come see you," you tell her.

"And nobody told me?"

"We were sworn to secrecy," Callen replies.

"You all knew?"

"Well, Y/N told me and by default, I told everyone else," Deeks answers.

The week flew by quickly. Kensi took the week off to hang out with you; going shopping, getting your nails done, seeing the new action movie at the theater, and having fun.
