You walk into the lab and hear the treadmill. You look over and see your boyfriend of two months on it. Cisco looks over and waves.

"Hey, Y/N. I didn't know you were coming today," he says.

"I wanted to surprise Barry. He's been coming home stressed lately."

"Yeah, I noticed it, too. It could be everything with Zoom and Jay, y'know?"

"Maybe," you say as Barry walks over to you.

"What are you doing here," he asks, kissing your cheek.

"Thought I'd surprise you at work."

"Consider me surprised. Caitlin's in her lab," he says.

You smile and give Cisco a knowing look as you make your way over to Caitlin. She pokes her head up with a smile when she sees you walking over.

"Girl, have I missed you," she says, hugging you tightly.

You have a quick girl talk before Cisco pulls you away. He gives you a look and you sigh. You walk over to your boyfriend and kiss his head.

"Talk a walk with me," you ask.

He stands up and follows you to the lobby. You sit on the floor and Barry lays his head in your lap, your fingers running through his hair.

"What's going on in that head of yours, Bare?"

"I just want this whole Zoom thing to be over," he mumbles.

"I know that, but it's gonna take time. I don't want this to sound mean, but Jay was merely a pawn in Zoom's master plan."

"Joe said the same thing. Speaking of Joe, are we still going to his place for dinner tonight," Barry asks.

"As long as you're up for it."

That night, you, Barry, Iris, and Joe sat at the table, enjoying Joe's cooking.

"Joe, that was delicious," you say, tossing your napkin on the plate.

"Thank you, Y/N. Glad somebody in your relationship enjoys my cooking," he says, looking at Barry.

"C'mon. Why are we all ganging up on me," Barry whines.

"You guys staying for dessert," Iris asks.

"No, we're gonna head out," you tell her.

You say goodbye and Barry drives home.
