Summary: Kai's girlfriend visits with lunch. The team doesn't know about her.

Kai sat in his chair, staring at his computer when his phone lit up.
You: I brought lunch
He stands up and heads to the lobby. Jesse looks at Jane, who shrugs. They see the two of you hug and Kai kisses your cheek.
"What are you doing here," your boyfriend of nine months asks.
"I figured you guys would be hungry. I picked up some food for you," you tell him.
"This is a wonderful surprise," he says, pecking your lips.
You grab his hand as he takes the tray of drinks and leads you to the bullpen after giving you a visitor pass. You set the food on his desk and face the team.
"Kai, who is this," Jesse asks him.
"This is Y/N. She's my girlfriend," he tells them.
"How come we never met her before now," Jane asks.
"I just got back from assignment," you explain.
"What agency," Jesse questions.
"CIA. I was in Belgium for the last six months."
"How long have you two been together," Jane ponders.
"Nine months," Kai answers.
"Well, I guess you can keep her since she brought food. And it's our favorite," Jesse cheers.
"Kai's told me a lot about you guys. And I remembered him saying that was your go-to," you say, motioning to the food.
"What time do you have to go in," Kai asks you, as Jesse and Jane open the food.
"I already went in for the day. They're giving me some time off because of what happened in Belgium," you tell your boyfriend.
"What happened?"
"My partner was killed. The funeral's next weekend in D.C."
That gets Jesse and Jane's attention because the bags stop rustling.
"What exactly happened," Jane asks you.
"Bad intel. That's all I can say," you shrug.
Kai pulls you in for a hug and you sigh.
"I've missed this," you chuckle.
"FaceTime does no justice," he replies.
After lunch, you leave the office but not before Jane speaks with you.
"I've been wondering why Kai's been so happy these last few months," she says.
"He was a little surprised when I told him I was CIA," you admit.
"Well, it's nice to know we have someone there we can trust."
You nod and look at your boyfriend, who's telling Jesse something.
"He's a great agent and an exceptional man. Don't let him go," she tells you with a wink.
