Summary: You get hurt during a fire and Will worries.

When Will saw you being wheeled in by Brett and Dawson, his heart sank. He watched as Natalie and Ethan took you to a trauma bay. He made his way to your crew and sighed.

"What happened," he asked Matt.

"The floor gave out beneath us. She pushed Mills out of the way and it just gave way," he explains.

Peter Mills sat in his chair with a guilty look.

"Hey, Mills, don't beat yourself up over this," Will tells him.

Mills gives him a strained smile and sits back as the rest of Squad walks in.

"How is she," Kelly asks as Ethan returns.

"She has a broken wrist and leg, but other than that, she's fine. She did inhale some smoke, but you got her out before she took in too much," Ethan explains.

Will breathes a sigh of relief as Hermann grabs his shoulders.

"You sure picked an invincible one," he tells the doctor.

"Yeah, I sure did," Will laughs.

"You can see her now," Ethan tells him.

Will makes his way to your room and smiles when he sees you sitting up.

"Hey, Wonder Woman," he jokes.

"Funny. I don't remember Wonder Woman getting any broken bones," you remark as he kisses you.

"Just take the compliment."

You giggle and kiss him again.

"How are you feeling," he asks.

"Pretty good, all things considered."

"Peter's beating himself up over you getting hurt."

You sigh and grab your boyfriend's hand.

"Can you send him in," you ask.

"Sure thing."

Will walks back over to the crew.

"Hey, Mills, she wants to see you," he tells him.

Mills makes his way to your room and is hesitant to enter.

"Peter Mills, you can't beat yourself up," you tell him.

"Seems like she's herself if she's scolding Mills," Dawson jokes.

"She said she feels fine," Will replies. 

A few minutes later, Mills returns and Will walks back to your room.

"What'd you tell him," he asks.

"Just that it was my decision to push him out of the room so he could go home to his mom."

"You are so selfless."

"That's why I became a firefighter."
