Evan Buckley x Sick Girlfriend Reader (9-1-1)

Summary: You come home from work early.

Buck was sitting in the living room, watching a movie, when he heard the front door open. He looked over and saw you setting your things on the counter. He glanced at his phone and saw it was only noon. You weren't supposed to be back home until tonight.

"Hey, you alright," he asks.

"I didn't feel good, so my boss sent me home," you tell him.

You slip your heels off and pick them up.

"I'm going back to bed."

You walk off to the bedroom and shut the door. Buck turned back to the tv and continued his movie. An hour later, he heard you coughing. He went into the bedroom and saw you laying underneath a mountain of blankets.

"Did you take anything," he asks, crouching next to the bed.

"I took Mucinex last night before I went to bed."

Buck heads into the bathroom and grabs the cough medicine. He pours some out and fills a cup with water. He walks back to the bedroom and hands you both.

"Here, take this."

You take the medicine and chase it with the water.

"I'll come back later," he says, turning to leave.

"Can you stay," you ask.

"Of course, baby."

He climbs into bed and you curl into his side. He wrapped his arm around you and rubbed your back. Your eyes grew heavy and you fell asleep. Buck pressed a kiss to your temple while you slept. He turned the tv on with the volume on low for some background noise and drew random shapes on your arm. After a few minutes, Buck eventually fell asleep. You woke up a few hours later with a cough, causing Buck to wake.

"Sorry," you croak out.

"It's fine. What time is it?"

"Uh, 5:23."

"How are you feeling?"

"Like death, but better, if that makes sense."

He laughs and kisses your head.

"You hungry?"

"Starving," you answer.

"I'll order something. What do you want?"

"Greek?"

"Sounds good."

That night, you sat on the couch, eating gyros and watching movies.
