Jake came home from work and went right to sleep. You spent most of the morning cleaning your apartment and watching TV. You made lunch around 12:45 and Jake emerged from the bedroom. You hand him a cup of coffee and he smiles.
"How was work last night," you ask as he steals half of your sandwich.
"Meh. Mostly paperwork," he says.
You nod your head and hum in response.
"What'd you do yesterday," he asks.
"Went to the store, talked to my mom, got dinner with a friend, and that's about it," you shrug.
"Do you have anything to do or anywhere to go today?"
"Nope. Why?"
"Can we just cuddle all day?"
"Sure thing, baby."
You grab the fluffy blanket from the closet in the hall while Jake opens Netflix and grabs snacks. You sat on the couch and cuddled into your boyfriend. Jake puts The Amazing Spider-Man on and you lay your head on his shoulder. Halfway through Legally Blonde, you shift and lay your head in Jake's lap. He plays with your hair and you sigh.
"What's up," he asks, not looking away from the movie.
"I miss this," you say.
"Me too."
Around 6, you order pizza for dinner while Jake refills the snack bowls. When the pizza arrives, you put on The Babysitter: Killer Queen. At eight, Jake puts on Avengers: Age of Ultron, followed by The Breakfast Club and The Boys In The Band. You fall asleep around 2:30 and Jake makes breakfast before he goes to work. That night, you continue your movie marathon with Operation Finale, Northern Rescue, Sightless, Takers, Spiderhead, and St. Elmo's Fire.
