Summary: Steve's sister shows up shortly after Will returns home.

It was a typical night at the Harrington household. Mike, Will, Dustin, Lucas, and Steve were in the middle of a campaign when there was a harsh knock at the door. Steve stands up and notices your figure standing outside his door. He swung to door open and pulled you into a hug. The boys share confused looks as Steve leads you into the kitchen. They get up and walk down the hall.

"I'm sorry for showing up unannounced," they hear you sob.

"What happened," your brother asks you.

"I left home. Dad was getting unbearable with his drinking. I packed my bags and left shortly after he passed out for the night."

"Why didn't you call me?"

"He wouldn't let me. He said you were a disgrace."

The boys' hearts break as you cry.

"Steve," Dustin asks.

"Go back to the living room," he tells them.

They do as he says and sit on the couch.

"Did any of you know Steve had a sister," Will asks, quietly.

Lucas and Dustin shake their heads.

"No, and he dated my sister," Mike says.

Silence engulfs the house. The only sound that can be heard is your soft cries. After a few minutes, the boys hear movement in the kitchen. They look up and see you walking into the living room with your brother. They move off the couch so you can sit, clinging to Steve. Ten minutes later, you fall asleep and the boys give Steve questioning looks. He motions for them to follow him into the kitchen.

"When were you gonna tell us you had a sister," Lucas hisses.

"Once I got her out of my dad's house," he tells them.

"Which was gonna be when," Dustin asks.

"I was working on it. Dad doesn't like me, alright? I couldn't just walk in the front door and take my sister," he explains before heading to the living room after hearing you whimper.
