You heard the sound of your apartment door closing and your bedroom door opening, which meant Mac came over. You felt the bed dip and an arm around your waist. You rolled over to face your boyfriend, not waking. You wrapped an arm around him and he drew patterns on your back while you slept. Mac eventually fell asleep after a few minutes. You woke around eleven to a sleeping Mac in your bed. You sighed and started tracing random shapes on his torso. He woke up a few minutes later and smiled down at you.
"I miss this," you mumble.
"Me too," he replies, kissing your head.
"Matty's been having you run all over the world," you giggle.
"Literally," Mac sighs.
You knew Mac was an operative for Phoenix and he knew you were an operative for the NSA. You met when a case he had coincided with one of your cases. When you got back to the States, Mac asked you out to dinner. Four months later, he asked you to be his girlfriend. You were going on eighteen months of dating. Over time, you grew close with his team. Riley became your best friend. Same with Bozer. Jack's the annoying brother in your opinion. And Matty's the stern, but caring, family member.
"Do you have to go in today," you whisper.
"No. Matty gave me a few days off."
"Chill day?"
Mac laughs and kisses your temple, nodding in agreement. You turn the TV on, opening Netflix. You stay in bed all day and watch movies, only leaving for food and the bathroom. You ignored the texts and calls you got throughout the day, wanting to enjoy each other's presence. You order takeout for dinner and spend the rest of the night watching cheesy romance movies.
