Intertwined..

Books, Rain & Kindle...

Life started moving... There was rain.. Lots of rain.. Along with a lot of cancelled visits.. Once the flight got cancelled.. Once the rain delayed the flight..

They both sulked.. For the cancelled meets or even for the delayed ones.. The day he went for the court as a witness, she was a mess.. She kept messaging..

" are you there?"

" did it end?".

" why the internet is off??"

The whole day she kept panicking... She called.. He hadn't picked since it was dnd mode... He just simply told his side and left afterwards for a vendor meet.. As a product manager they were tying up with a company, that did analysis of the per person product.. He was supposed to have a in detailed discussion..

At night when he actually called back she stared at her phone as if it was a part of world's 7th wonder.. Just to spite him she didn't pick and kept doing her dishes..

He took a gap... In between replied each one of her messages.. With each message he waited for few seconds.. Expecting it to be seen..

He typed a "sorry".. He explained that since he wasn't in office his phone wasn't connected to wifi.. Also he mentioned "he hadn't responded to anyone.." which he expected would translate to her as " if I hadn't responded to you, then noone else either.."

He called back again.. Now the phone was busy... He was mad.. Real mad.. So he spoke few minutes at home then called back... Again... And again and again..

She did pick on the 4th... The reason was It pacified her a bit that he wasn't going to give up about talking to her...

K : whom you're speaking for last 45 minutes..

That came out in a miffed, stern voice...

T : I can't talk...??

He tried to relax himself at her counter question.. He knew the question sounded a bit wrong.

K : I'm waiting on the other side..

T : so??

K : Tejasswi...

His voice held an edge..

T : no.. While day you didn't get a single time to reply or call.. But you expect..

K : god.. It was just the second half.. I had a meeting at 3.. I explained it..

T : I'm yet to see..

She said soberly as if she hadn't seen the messages..

K : I know you saw it from notification bar.. So don't think..

T : how come you completely shit out everything..

K : I didn't notice.. That's all..

He said calmly...

T : you would say that..

She said in a glumly voice.. He explained her the court session was nothing intense.. There were other ppl also who witnessed the scene..

K : what are you doing..

T : just roaming in the balcony..

She was just walking around carelessly..

As a matter of fact he held his cup of hot water and moved to his own balcony attached to hall..

K : were you... scared??

He asked up.. From her reactions he knew it.. His whole family was worked up and one by one just a little before  he had messaged each one of them everything was okay..
