Note : sorry for being late but I'm held up with a lot of other things.. I hope this chapter is somewhat okay..

He analysed that all the mess that was there he needs to start clearing them up..

He started with his  own friend Ashok  first.. Sat down with him on a Friday evening.. Just two of them.. Even ashok was confused at first..

When he told the truth, his friend stared at him for few seconds.. He was definitely not expecting it..

"you could've just told me and it would've saved us from this embarrassing.. How much of a fool I would've looked like?" Ashok ranted imagining how all the other three must have thought in their last dinner..

He just kept a silence and took all the rants.. A acknowledgement towards his own mistake..

That day when he spoke to her he kept it short citing the reason that he was tired.. He just needed to get a hold of his own life.. He needed to clear his head.. It was almost 25 days of their last meet..

Next five days his sister's engagement was there.. He expected to see her..

The next day around 9, Arpana called her and ranted for 20 minutes how Ashok has written a big paragraph to her in insta dm explaining how irresponsible she was to arrange that lunch..

She was more disturbed about the fact that he hadn't mentioned a thing about it to her..

She didn't ask either.. She waited if at some point he would say it to her.. He never brought it up..

Engagement was on the 28th of May and marriage was in June 3rd..he had only asked her when she had reached to Mumbai.. He hadn't caught up with her properly due to the arrangements..

The evening she wasn't there when her whole family got there.. He was little confused.. He expected to see her, more than that just figured she would be there.. He called her and she did not pick... An hour later she had reached the hall with one of his friend or classmate ..

The guy had picked the three of them from one person's place but since she was walking beside him it looked like she was with him..

He was talking with someone over the phone about something.. She could feel his eyes on her from miles away even when she was yet to spot him..

At that instant he was mad.. Like super mad.. She arrived into a family function with one of his classmate... Nothing was wrong in it.. But the entry together made them look like a pair.. He didn't want that..

Their eyes met as his friend ameesh came upto give a hug.. If she wanted to fake a smile at him she couldn't as his eyes felt like they can burn through..

K : together?..

He questioned at the first stance he got..

Ameesh : I picked her, tanya, manisha and sanjay as well..

He nodded at his friend.. It was not a time to argue over but he avoided her.. It was like they didn't know each other..

But inside his brain it kept running.. If she was simply trying to irritate him then she was going to get it.. Or May be she is trying to fool her dad into think that she and this ameesh is seeing each other.. It boiled his insides more because he had told her not to do anything sort of that..

It was all done.. The formal ring exchange. Loud cheers. Photo sessions .. She stood somewhere with friends.. He came and stood behind leaning on the pillar.. She saw him..

She kept laughing over the jokes.. He didn't...

One by one people kept leaving.. It was a moment after when they were sort of far away from others..
