"Can I ask you a question?"

"No. Watch the damn movie."

"I'm curious about something."

"It is really important? I suppose it is not."

"Isaac!"

"Fine. Go ahead. Stop paying attention to the movie we were trying to watch for three hours already." Isaac and Gavin were laying on the couch in the living room watching a movie in the beginning of that night. It started by 21 in the afternoon, but since Gavin wouldn't stop talking, Isaac had to rewind the movie so they could properly pay attention to the scenes, and now once again he interrupted their watch time. Isaac didn't mind that much, he was just pretending to be irritated by it. He enjoyed listening to Gavin's voice.

They were side by side on the couch and Gavin's head rested on Isaac's chest just before he started talking again, but he fixed his position to properly look at Isaac while they were having a conversation. "I want to know why do you have that thing over your eyes. Lenses, right?"

"Do not you have anything better to ask, Gavin? Why do you want to know about it?" Isaac passed his arm around Gavin's neck and brought them close again. The boys were dressing casual clothes while staying inside the bunker, as they usually do, so both felt comfortable in the moment. Isaac paused the movie before answering Gavin's question. "The Lenses are quite a problematic subject. It is a tiny device that is inserted into the brain and then becomes part of it. This project was not released officially because in the early stages of development and testing in human brains, some testers got disturbing colateral effects. People like to have these implants but it is very difficult to make it talk with the human body sometimes, as my mother once said."

"Really? Like what?" Gavin turned his head to look at the other boy who turned his Lenses on and showed his eyes filled with white color.

"Mental illnesses, hallucinations, brain death, nothing good. No one was willing to put it inside their brains so the project was shut down."

"And how did you get it inside your head? Because it functions perfectly on you."

"I was born blind. My mother knew the Lenses could heal my vision so she bought the project from the company who first created it, and with your father, they refined the device and put it in my head. If I turn it off, I will see nothing but darkness." Isaac slowly demanded for his brain to shut down the Lenses and his pupils were visible again, but in a lighter color, showing that without the device, his vision really fades away. "I own a lot to your father. I take him as an example for many things."

"What my father was in the end? He was sort of a divinity? Because from what I have seen so far, that's how people treat him. Turn it back on, your eyes are giving me chills." Gavin weakly elbowed Isaac so he would do as he said. When the device was back on track, the colors were slowly settled into Isaac's vision, seeing again Gavin's head next to his.

"No, he was not. Chemeris was just a smart man. Satisfied now, prince?" He kissed Gavin in the cheek before going back to the movie. Isaac couldn't put his joy into words. The phase he was living in the moment was unbelievable to him, most pleasant than he could ever imagine. He felt happy to be able to do those things with Gavin whenever he felt comfortable, even more when he remembered that once he swore he would never go through relationships again, yet here he is. His heart felt warm and relaxed around the shorter boy, wanting to remember every second they spend together so he could think about it when they separate ways. Isaac was so silly while being in love.

"I'd rather you calling me stupid than prince. Sounds too superficial and mediocre. I don't feel like I'm any of these things."

"You are so stupid for saying something like this." Isaac smiled as he kissed his cheek again, making Gavin grin as well. "Watch the movie or I am going to bed."
