The air in the City of Pinium was not on its best days, having the sensitive quality very poor that night, making the inner government of the city to turn on the particles refiners – giant rectangular poles positioned in various areas of Pinium's extension, in order to clear the air from the amount of pollution it had in the moment. The effect was not instant but would be noticed still that night. The poles had 30 meters in height and 10 meters in width, so the power those machines had was incredible.
Inside the jet, neither the boys nor the pilots and the security crew felt the poor and dirty density of the air, thanks to the plane's own particle refiner. A poisonous strong storm near the city caused the condition that night, having the winds bringing it to them in fast two hours. It was not an internal emergency, besides being something not to be ignored. The society already had ways to prevent the diseases that specific storm causes, so the worst thing they would feel was the urge to cough incessantly for a while.
When the boys landed in the National Airport of Caemairi, their presence was quickly noticed, but they were taken to a floating car even quicker than the eyes of people could reach them. Both of them were anxious for that night. Isaac loved to spend time with his family and Gavin was learning how to feel that way as well. The family gathering Angelina organized that other day was a night to be remembered, for both of them, for the good and bad reasons, but they were only rooting for the positive moments of the evening, excluding Blanca's appearance and Benjamin's breakdown with Gavin in the end of the event.
Isaac let his mother aware when they were reaching the glass house Wypà rented for the party. It was taken literally as the name suggests, having the square as the ruling shape of the ground and first floor, positioned in disagreement on top of one another. The glass was a saturated tone of blue, quite bright, but private enough, being mirrored on the outside. A tall and dense in leaves tree was present in front of the ground floor entrance, having curvy branches that passed over the height of the first floor. That was a special tree, being on that field for millenniums back. It was older than Kyedoth, but it was beautiful, and the entire construction was inspired by it. The leaves were a strong dark blue, and it had bioluminescent properties that made it glow tiny particles over its extension. During other periods of the year, the tree would go to lighter tones of blue, but always maintaining the natural brightness it has.
That was the first thing that caught Gavin's eyes when they were at the front facade of the building. Ahead of them, a few people made a line to enter the party, having their BioID checked by a reader in the front door. Music could be heard coming from the inside, but none of it was appealing enough to Gavin like that damn blue tree. He walked towards it with Isaac by his side, not being as impressed as his lover. He let out a little smile when he saw Gavin drooling on it. That was an image capable of transforming the worst day of his life into the best. "Want me to take a picture of you there?" He suggested. Gavin didn't think twice before getting his phone out of his purse and handing it to Isaac. The Malone boy stood next to a branch that was close to his head, having the leaves weakly illuminating his face with their blue rays. In the unfocused background, elements of artificial lighting and natural landscaping added beauty to the picture, but the main character was the giant white smile of Gavin.
Isaac took it, then he let the cellphone floating and prepared to take a shot by the side of his sun, hugging him by the shoulder. Isaac remained serious in the picture, but it did not exclude any beauty from the final result. Bethervan grabbed the phone back and stood by Gavin's side to see it properly, and while Gavin complained with why you can't just smile? Angelina came out of the house to see if they had arrived, and she found them easily, mainly because some people on the line had their cellphone cameras aimed directly at them. The woman had a long dress painted in dark red and sparkly, practically glued on her body, outlined her curves magnificently. Her dark briwn hair was loose, almost reaching her coccyx – it would have but she had a cut weeks before – and that way, her figure had much more elegance attached in it.
