CHAPTER 77: A LITTLE SEED

Angelina Bethervan was speechless while she was on her way to Gavin's new house, and it was not for a good reason. She was in an automatic car waiting for her entrance to be approved by the security around the front gates. A tense atmosphere was being set inside her head and she was ready to blow that house down in the next minutes. It was something they didn't need to face during the rising ceremony. Such polemic situation could have waited a month at least, but some people are just without important things to be done, so spreading delicate informations to the media on the internet was a great way to pass the time.

Angelina was fuming, totally ready to kill someone if she had the guts to. She would verbally attack the responsible for that information leaking until they regretted being born and saying those words. When she was accepted into the house and her car reached the front facade, she left the vehicle in a hurry, being warmed by the suns who were totally out that morning. It was going to be a beautiful and historic day, but now a lot of things were in bad shapes.

Angelina knocked on the door frantically, like she was ready to put it down to the floor with her knuckles. Moments later, it was opened, but no one was on the other side. Instead, Alexei opened the door for her as Gavin commanded. Angelina walked inside and faced the sleek lines of the house, breathing some cold conditioned air. She looked to the right, where the kitchen was, but no one was there. Then she looked to the left and also no one was there. Alexei saw through the cameras and decided to speak up. "Good morning, Angelina. It has been a long time since we have talked. Gavin and your son Isaac are in the backyard."

"Hey, Alexei." That was all she said before finding her way to the transparent door which lead to the green backyard. The sound of her heels were powerful in a certain way, and it sounded like it would leave holes on the floor. She crossed the living room to find the round glassy door that gave ways to the yard, seeing that both Gavin and Isaac were laying on the grass side by side, taking some sun in their skins, looking up to the delicate blue sky and having some talk about their expectations for the night who was about to come. Isaac had his hand caressing Gavin's ear lobe slowly, but eventually he went to caress his hair. Angelina watched the scene with her heart melted. It gave her peace to see that her boys were being able to find happiness somewhere after everything they have been through. She opened the most honest smile of the past months and she quickly forgot about what brought her mad to the house.

She went outside, feeling the suns again. She crossed her hands together and finally spoke, getting their attention. "I am sorry to interrupt, boys." Her face went back to the angry status from before. The boys got up from the grass and cleaned their clothes because it contained a few drops of dirt in it. "And Isaac, you have a serious explaining to do."

"Me?" He furrowed his brows and crossed his arms. "What have I done?"

"You tell me. Get inside." Angelina walked back to the house, heading to the kitchen. The boys followed her confusingly, but they said nothing about it. To have Angelina in that mood something serious might have happened.

Angelina walked to the middle of the island and quickly touched twice in an specific part of it, then a rectangular digital screen was lighted up, revealing a few options like web browsing, television, recipes for experts and beginners and also a calling device with a microphone and camera. Gavin looked at it and wondered why in the world a device like that would be placed in the kitchen's island. It is a very technological piece of stone.

She typed quickly on the screen, finding a gossip article that was recently posted, but it had more than 500.000 access, and it gained more each second. Angelina gestured with one finger and now pointed to an empty wall of the kitchen, and the digital screen once in the stone, was now bigger on the wall. She made sure that the title was evident to both of them. Isaac mainly.
