"Oh, hello Mr. President! May I know the reason behind such sudden call? You are not going to attend our lunch tomorrow, is that it?" Lola quickly said all those words like her life depended on it. She was in her closet getting some clothes to fly to Versital Propek in the next hours when she received a call from Gavin.

"No, not at all, Lola. I just wanted to have a conversation with you. Just you and me. No Isaac." Lola was the person to help him with his current concerns and he had been thinking about it for days until finally having the courage to speak with her.

"Oh..." She was surprised and curious. It was rare to see Gavin without Isaac and Isaac without Gavin. "What happened? Aren't you two in good terms? Oh, come on Gavin. The launch is in two days. You cannot have this energy around yourselves. Actually, you and Isaac always have fights before important events happening. It is incredible!"

"No, Lola. I didn't have a fight with him. We are good. But it is a delicate matter he cannot know and you are the person I need to share this with. Are you traveling today or tomorrow?"

"Today. I am actually packing my stuff right now. Gavin, what happened?" Her voice was now serious.

"Let's meet somewhere and I will explain everything. Let me know when you arrive at the airport. I will be there waiting for you."

"Alright. Are we going to a fancy place? I cannot dress some random clothing if the answer is yes."

Gavin giggled at that. "Yes, we are going to the fanciest rooftop of Versital Propek. Dress properly!"

"Alright, President. I will text you in a few. Goodbye!"

With that said, her eager to get to the airport just increased. The mystery Gavin did was unhuman. He could have told her through the phone, right? However, Lola understood that some things are better spoken in person than through a piece of metal, so her curiosity would have to wait about two hours to know what her friend was hiding from Isaac.

It was the end of the afternoon when Lola's jet was high in the sky going to the main airport of Versital Propek. She found herself busy with her social media all the way there, mainly because that was all her life was about. She was a piece of media just like Gavin and Isaac. What separated them was that the boys were known political figures, and Lola was one of the most famous models of her generation - so different audiences accompanied their lives for different purposes, and unlike Isaac, she loved all the attention she received. Actually, going out with Gavin meant a great meet with thousands of flashes so she was even more excited to get to the airport.

Around 23 in the afternoon, when the suns were about to say their goodbyes to the pink and orange mix in the sky, Lola was amidst several people in the airport, trying to find their ways. She was holding a bag with one hand and the cellphone in the other, searching for Gavin's contact so she would let him know she arrived. The boy did not take long to get there. He parked in front of the entrance and the door was quickly sliding to the side once she was in a considerable distance from it. Somehow, the photographers always knew when the President was running around the city in cars, and that time was no different. Lola was seen entering the car. She hugged Gavin strongly. It has been some time since they last saw each other. She already demanded answers but Gavin would only answer them when they were in the restaurant.

The rooftop area was not busy yet. The golden time was around 25 and 26 in the night, so a lot of tables were available. Gavin chose the farthest seat from other people, located near the glass walls on the borders of the building. They sat, ordered drinks and Gavin took a long deep breath while Lola's grey eyes intensely stared at him demanding answers.

"Alright. Stop with the creepy stare, Lola. I got the message."

"Come on! Tell me already. I almost killed myself in the plane because of it." The waiter came in with their drinks and positioned it in front of them, then excused himself. The duo thanked him before he left. "I mean, you wouldn't tell me on the phone so I presumed it was something really fucked up."
