"Good evening, Mr. Bethervan!" Dtcherzyn appeared at his door with a gentle smile, sounding overly excited, almost sounding worried. "I am really, really sorry to step on your door in the middle of the night, but the matter is urgent. I needed to talk to Mr. President if it is possible. It will be very quick." His face was illuminated by the artificial lightning of the outside.
Isaac was confused and took a bit to answer. "Sure." He said slowly, then he stepped to the side, giving space for him to enter. "Get in. I will take you to him."
"Excuse my presence, sir." Dtcherzyn entered the house and was amazed by the place. The tall walls and fancy lightning won his sight at first. Isaac walked to the kitchen and motioned for him me to follow. Over there, everyone was surprised by the visit. Nikola and Lola didn't recognize Dtcheryn even though he always appeared with Gavin in the public meetings he had.
"Hello, Dtcherzyn, dear." Angelina greeted him with a smile. "What brings you here?"
"Good evening, everyone. Firstly, it is a pleasure to call you Mr. President." He bowed to Gavin.
"What did I say about bowing, Dtcherzyn?" Gavin said, making the man get up on his feet quickly, almost looking funny. "Something happened?" Gavin thought how stupid that question was. The country was a fiery confusion. A lot was going on.
"Well, the State Union is a mess. Literally and theoretically." He said. "There are things that need to be fixed and decided quickly."
"My dears, why don't the three of you go to the living room while me and Gavin talk with Dtcherzyn?" Angelina said, and Lola, Isaac and Nikola left the room instants later. "What is it?"
"Kyedoth's supporters are not standing by your side at all, Mr. President. They say they will not work, that they will not help to rebuilt the State Union, not in structural terms but in political. Some Chiefs of State are threatening to initiate an exoneration process from Qorjal since your overcrow. And we need to decide what to do with the body."
"Exoneration?" Gavin almost laughed at that. "I am not an expert in politics but doing this in the situation they are feels extremely dumb."
"And it is, honey." Angelina crossed her arms. "If they succeed in becoming an independent country you can choose to just ignore them, decline them products, raw materials, resources, founds, everything. They will not last too long and the population would be very mad at their governments. The era of Kyedoth is over. People will have louder voices."
Gavin was judging mentally his next words, so he took some seconds to talk again. "If they don't want to work, we will find people who does." He was switching glances between Angelina and Dtcherzyn. "I want an entire substitution of every single post that Kyedoth's representatives had inside the State Union and also in every department that was under his administration." Dtcherzyn was taking notes on his executive PAD of what Gavin was saying. "When it comes to the Chiefs of State, we will do as Angelina said. If they want to be an independent nation, they can be, but they will not have our support by any means. We have nothing to lose. They do."
"And the body..." Gavin wondered what they could do with what remained of Kyedoth. He remembered something he saw in his father's laboratory and also in the Federal Opus' camp. "Put it in a cryogenic vertical capsule and deliver it to my house in Debleou Cursfee, the previous sanctuary of my father's. His mind may be useful somehow."
"You're planning on use Kyedoth's body for what?" Angelina asked, not understanding the reason behind that act.
"He is the origin of everything, Angelina. I wanted to keep him alive to know these things, but it didn't play out the way I wanted. So, is that all Dtcherzyn?"
