CHAPTER 47: ENABLING DATA

Isaac paced around the living room while Gavin was laying on the couch watching TV. The nervousness inside Isaac's being was actually irritating Gavin. He didn't stop moving for a second since Lola warned them she was on her way to Debleou Cursfee with Atthlyc by her side. Since then, Isaac had been nervous about it for many reasons, such as meeting an old friend and being caught entering Chemeris' locked up house. Gavin tried to calm him down countless times but it didn't work at all.

"I told you so many times already. If no one saw us during daylight, no one will catch them in night time. It's dark out there, Isaac." Gavin said while holding the remote. Being on that white couch felt like heaven for Gavin. He was not interested in moving a centimeter away from it.

"Lola said Atthlyc was arrested last year and he told her that the Governmental Guard follows him around. Do you think they will not know if he enters this very specific house? Security will check his BioID in the airport." He stood in front of Gavin so he couldn't see the screen anymore.

"Lola is not dumb, Isaac. Now leave." He pushed Isaac to the side with his foot, which barely touched Isaac's body since the distance was a bit longer than his legs could reach.

The boys were dressing casual clothes and before Lola warned Isaac about her arrival, they were watching a reality show on television. Gavin never wanted do swear at Lola like he wanted that time.

"They are getting close." Isaac said while looking at his phone. "Unlock the door, Gavin."

"Alexei, unlock the door please." Gavin said in clear laziness.

"Main door unlocked. Security of the house is at risk." Alexei said.

Soon enough Isaac heard a car parking in front of the house, having Lola and Atthlyc quickly getting out and walking to the front door. Atthlyc kept looking around to see if any cops were coming to get him but fortunately they were alone in the street. Lola entered first, holding the door for Atthlyc to get inside, closing it after he passed through it. Gavin heard the door being closed and he told Alexei to lock it again. In a hurry, Isaac came to meet Lola and Atthlyc, having his friend to strongly hug him. Isaac didn't return it right away. Actually, he didn't do it at all.

"Alright, Atthlyc, calm down." Isaac said stiffly while his friend had the strong hold over his body.

Atthlyc released the hug and grabbed Isaac's face. "Man, I can't believe you are alive." Isaac gently took the hands out of his face, disapprovingly looking at his old friend.

"Goodnight, Atthlyc. Lola." He glanced at the girl who nodded at him, going to the living room to meet Gavin. "It is time to tell you somethings. Follow me." Isaac walked to the kitchen and Atthlyc was right behind him, being amazed by the beautiful sight the inside of the house has to offer. His eyes darted everywhere in the rooms, but he managed to follow Isaac without stumbling on his feet.

"First of all, how do you have access to this house? Isn't it like closed to eternity or some shit like that?" He leaned against the kitchen's island and Isaac sat on a chair, taking a deep breath before initiating.

He managed to explain the entire situation to Atthlyc from the beginning. From the time were he attempted to murder Kyedoth, to his journey after Chemeris' son and everything that came after it. Atthlyc reaction to it was simple: a good laugh. It was not a sarcastic laugh or anything, it was more like an instant reaction after listening to unimaginable things, he didn't mean to disrespect Isaac, who held a serious expression on his face.

They discussed a bit about it, because the more they talked, the more questions Atthlyc had, and Isaac felt like he deserved to know what he wanted because he agreed to help them easily. Besides the money, Atthlyc felt encouraged by doing it because the cause was very noble. He hated Kyedoth and he hated the Governmental Guard, so being part of that was pleasing to him. He didn't think much about Chemeris' but he never thought he was a liar like much people do.
