CHAPTER 89: THE DAY THEY FORGOT THE TIME

The leaves of the trees slowly parted ways with their branches, flying in the air and eventually finding their way to the ground, decomposing once their surfaces were completely dry. Above these dark green leaves, two flaming stars illuminated and warmed the day after traveling as fast as lightning could to reach the planet. Under the suns and the trees, people calmly walked, enjoying the view of the nature free of snow, with raw and vivid colors instead of the monotonous white that the cold weather always made sure to provide.

Isaac and Gavin were walking in a solid path in a Green Park back in Qorjal, where Isaac thought it would be a nice place to go for a visit since Gavin never went to one before. Filled with tall trees, flowers and beautifully shaped bushes, the boy was amazed by the park. Gavin was not the type to take pictures of every moment, but that time, he activated the Lola Pyotr mode and was snapping everything with his cellphone. Isaac saw the enthusiasm of his lover and the amount of joy he felt couldn't be well expressed. The huge smile he had in his face denounced it clearly. He loved seeing Gavin happy.

The park was not closed for their visit like Gavin's team advised them to do, so a lot of people were taking pictures and strongly glancing at them once the boys were spotted by their sights. At least they were not being invasive, and if it was kept that way, the boys wouldn't be bothered by the looks at all. When they were happy in each other's presences the rest of the world faded away. It was like the park and the nature was theirs and no one could ruin it. Gavin was mostly amazed because he didn't thought that a simple ride to a Green Park would be so fun.

It was still morning so the boys could do other activities during the day. "Now it is our turn." Gavin was trying to let the phone floating in the air like Angelina always does. He had some difficulty because he never used that function before, but he managed to activate it. The timer was on and once the camera recognized them in front of the lenses, it would picture them.

Gavin walked back to his lover's side, in front of a ten meter tree, having pink and purple flowers in its branches, making circular shapes around its extension. Gavin passed an arm behind Isaac's coccyx, while the Bethervan boy hugged Gavin from the side, touching his shoulder. Gavin was reaching the height of Isaac's neck since he lowered his head down a little to touch Gavin's. They both smiled and the picture was taken. The Malone boy went to grab his phone back and analyzed it. "People aren't wrong when they say we are a beautiful couple. Look at this." Isaac now stood by his side with his hand behind his own back, looking at the picture from above Gavin's shoulder.

"How can I be with the most handsome man of the two countries?" He said while looking at the phone. Gavin held his bicep and they returned to walk.

"How can you be so sure if you don't know the other side yet?"

"I do not need to. I just need to look at your face."

"I am not used to you being this cute so please stop." Isaac laughed and kissed his cheek quickly. "Now where should we go? We have a lot of free time today."

"I am not sure yet, but I am liking this thing of being normal. What about you, Gavin?"

"Anything other than living under the ground is somewhere pleasant to be in, Isaac. What if we go to a concert or a sport event?" Gavin sounded excited about the idea he just mentioned, like he was a kid living the best of life. Isaac reminded of his young self flying to Debleou Cursfee for the first time when he looked at this side of Gavin, which only wanted to know the world he was surrounded by. It was priceless.

"Do you like any artists or type of sports?"

"No, I don't. Does it matter?"

"Yes, of course!" Isaac giggled. "How do you want to go on a concert to listen music you do not like?"
