CHAPTER 64: SHINE BRIGHT SPOTLIGHT

The space which held the studio was wide, not built in an specific shape, but the giantness was the key for its magnificent aura. The main stage, where the interview was taking place, was round, shiny and reflective, having a tall panel behind it, going floor to ceiling in amazing 8 meters of height. The entire set was filled with customizable backgrounds so the immersion of their goal could be realistic. In the ceiling, bright lights emerged and flew in the air constantly, like particles moving around the universe. On the other side, several chair were displayed for the live audience, and since that day was simply the most awaited show of the year, they had tripled the number of seats due the high demand to ser Gavin in person.

A huge scheme of security was positioned inside the building, out of the edifice and in the streets nearby the area. After the events of two days before, the protection around Gavin and whoever was with him was also tripled. A decision taken by the boy himself and his team of counselors. It was a risk showing up in live TV for the entire country, even more when Gavin had a lot to say to the nation. Kyedoth could put up a crazy act of violence inside the set without a second thought.

Ten minutes before the show starts, Gavin was on the backstage getting ready. He had his entire team present there, giving him advices about how to behave, how to act with certain questions, how to drible malicious questions if there is any and things like that. Isaac was also present – always by his side, paying attention to what his team was saying and also gluing his eyes on everything around them. He had his amount of worry separated for the occasion as well.

They were gathered inside a white squared room, wide enough to fit everyone comfortably. Gavin was being made up by a makeup artist, putting up clean look over his features. He was wearing a blazer painted in the highest blue color, with an ornamental detailing over the high relief pattern. The left arm of the blazer was made of a fabric that resembled silver, but it didn't have the stiffness of the metal, but the appearances were very similar. The one that composed the outfit was a dark tone of gray which were in match with the metallic adornments he was using in his cheek, jawline and right temple. His pants were also painted in the highest color and the shoes matched the dark silver color. Now, talking about the boy himself, he was feeling the nervousness coming out of him in crazy waves of sweat. His hands were constantly wet and you could see his forehead in drips if it wasn't for the makeup drying it instantly, but he was confident that he was pulling it out well.

"You look awesome, Mr. Malone." Sasha, his social media manager, said while taking a look at him. "We have 15 minutes left. Once the make is finished we are taking some pictures. Is that alright?"

"Of course, Sasha." Gavin looked at himself in the wide mirror and couldn't help but smile seeing that he was completely handsome. "What do you think, Isaac?" He looked to the side where Isaac was standing. The boy wore fancy black clothes but nothing too ostentatious.

"I think you look the most handsome ever." Isaac smiled and crossed his arms, then both boys turned their attention to Sasha who was talking once again.

"We need pictures of you two together splattered everywhere on the web. People online are crazy to see it." He said with excitement. Gavin didn't say anything and raised his eyebrows, making Isaac notice he was thinking about something.

"What is it, Gavin? Your eyes do not fool me."

Gavin thought twice before answering. It was nothing too serious, but he was avoiding the matter. "In the end, your mother had a point about selling our relationship to the public."

"Angelina Bethervan is a very intelligent businesswoman and politician. I attended several events she hosted when I was in college. I was fascinated. She always knows what she is talking about." Kita said on the other side of the room. "But it is not selling, Mr. Malone. You are just showing your love to the people. They like that."
