Quick message before you read! This chapter contains very aggressive scenes descriptions and the dialogues might be too strong for some people. If you are not comfortable with these scenes, go to chapter 52! I don't want you feeling bad while reading this story, but enough talking, wish you all a good read!
Heavy steps echoed through the first underground floor of the military base. It sounded mysterious, authoritarian and out of place. About one hundred soldiers, men and women, stood in guard position, frozen in place, not daring to blink an eye or breathe a little bit more intense, trying not to catch the attention of the devil that was walking around in silence and with hands behind his back. He wore his usual dark blue suit, whose color was a sign of power. Only the highest office could put on suits in that specific color.
Kyedoth Malone was caught out of guard that day, and that was everything he needed to blow up the rest of the patience he had. He didn't receive any pleasing news for a while, and he felt that it was the time to get some satisfaction from his military employees and their chiefs. After several minutes walking around the grey and huge room, filled with vehicles and powerful aircrafts, Kyedoth stopped and looked directly at the soldiers. They were separated in five rows of twenty people. The first row was composed by the chiefs and highest military ranks of the Federal Opus. They wore beautiful uniforms, craved in dark tones of green, red and orange, adorned with golden brooches that showed the world their importance in the military field.
Kye looked at them in disgust, wondering where his head was when he approved their presence at their professional positions. "You had the most qualified weapons, equipments, vehicles, training and tactics of this solar system, and let's look what you did with it: failure after failure." He said calm but loud so everyone could clearly listen. "You had one task. Bring the fucking Outlander back to our laboratories AND. YOU. STILL. FAILED!" Kye screamed, having his white face red and the veins of his neck popping out. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING DURING YOUR TRAINING SESSIONS? CAN YOU PIECES OF SHIT CHIEFS EXPLAIN WHY THE OUTLANDER IS STILL WALKING AROUND THE CITY LIKE NOTHING IS HAPPENING? HUH?"
The room was kept quiet, still no one moved, and that was exactly what Kyedoth wanted. He just had interest in humiliating them for failing, he didn't want to hear excuses or other solutions. The time to do so had passed already. "You will grab your useless badges and throw it on the floor." Everyone did as he said instantly, the sound of several metals touching the floor and rolling around the place. Kyedoth looked down and grabbed the brooch that belonged to the Master Sergeant Chief of the Governmental Guard. He analyzed the item before he took a few steps back and strongly threw it at his face, piercing violently, having blood pouring out of his forehead. The man fell to the ground almost immediately and still no one moved an inch.
"You do not worth enough to live in my country. That is the real truth..." He paced the room a bit more, before stopping in front of the soldiers again. "I see you all have grenades in your duty belts..."
"You are going to press the ignition button right now." Kyedoth heartlessly said, being the first time they didn't obey immediately. No one there wanted to lose their lives and end up like their colleague on the floor. "I do not care if you will blow all these vehicles and your organs will be splattered in the air. Press the ignition button right now."
The thing he hated the most was people that didn't obey him. For years he had all the power in the world, and only a few people have the courage to disobey and still stay alive, but he was used to people not thinking twice before doing what he wanted. "Beyond losers you are also a bunch of cowards. I hope the hell has terrible spots for you." He grabbed the grenade from the belt of a random soldier and threw it between them all after pressing the button. Kyedoth remained still in his place while the others ran for the exits, which Kyedoth had closed already.
The explosion came aggressively because one ignition lead to another, having one hundred grenades exploding in the room, not only killing people but also damaging the vehicles parked there. The bodies of the soldiers lasted seconds before it all happened, having organs flying in the air, blood painting the clean walls and floor, screams of despair filling the atmosphere.
When it came to Kyedoth, his body was untouched, in perfect state like he just got up from his bed. Between ripped bodies and dark grey smoke, he saw that one soldier managed to scape the explosion, so he walked towards him. The man was in fetal position in the corner of the room, having his eyes closed and saying something very low, like he was praying. Kye grabbed him by the neck and got the man up, forcing him against the wall. He was deciding to pressure the neck until it exploded by the strength of his hand, but he left the hold on the man, who breathlessly tried to stay on his feet.
The man was silent, but when he calmed his breath and fixed his posture, he looked at Kyedoth with raging eyes. "Chemeris is working on the Plenitude to save the country from your dirty hands."
That was when Kyedoth punched the man's head, smashing part of his brain and cranium. The body fell on the floor but some parts kept moving due the nerves reactions. Kye's knuckles were bloodied, and he was going to spare his life, but the man mentioned the thing he hated the most since he could remember.
"Chemeris is being raped by the devil. That is what he is doing." He grabbed a tissue from his pocket and cleaned his hands, face and neck, that was dirty of blood. Kyedoth fixed his tie and managed to get out of the room, finding someone to clean the mess he just made. Outside the room, his phone rang and he picked it up. After listening what the caller had to say, Kyedoth rolled his eyes, not liking what he just heard. "I cannot listen to this name two times in the same day. Send me the values in percentages. I am on my way."
I decided to write a quick chapter in another point of view just to break the constant Gavin and Isaac storytelling, but our boys will be back in chap 52, they have important things to do!
Have you seen how Kyedoth acts? Yes, and you haven't seen him at his worst!
