"How is it going, Angelina? The life of the Primer Director of the State Union has its challenges, I guess. Not to mention being the Director of ICS." Angelina and Grand Olezska walked side by side in black formal fashion at the green fields of the center of Policy City, on their way to the State Union building. Early in the morning, the sky was bright light blue and the two stars were rising up in their sights. The green fields, as the name suggests, are a vast area of short green and yellow grass, having high trees only deep in the horizon, approximately one hundred meters away from the center, and it had solid paths that connected with the buildings of the inner city. The place transmitted instant calmness and relaxation as its natural beauty was peaceful and untouched. It was considered a huge offense to step on that specific grass.

Angelina looked to her side, eyeing her mother in law with suspicion since she found that question unexpected. "It is a busy schedule, but I know how to handle everything. Why do you ask Mother Olezska?"

"I am just caring about you, Angelina. I have been away from our family for a while and I am trying to make up to it." Angelina frowned internally, knowing this isn't something that the old woman would say usually. "Even more when we lost our dear Oliver so sudden and unfairly."

"The man you used to support with teeth, nails and grip, did that for free because he was a coward. My child had nothing to do with whatever problems we had." The heels of both of them sounded in sync as they walked to the State Union building, while the wind flew their hair to behind their backs, flowing beautifully. A few of their guards walked behind them, but in a considerable distance.

"Your accusations towards our President are quite invalid, Angelina. You should have acted passively with him and not aggressively like the way you did. You know how Kyedoth is. He commented a few things with me. You were committing crimes against his government and freely getting away with it. Completely absurd." Olezska said like she was talking about a gossip she read online. That made Angelina wonder if she was sane or if she was developing a mental disorder right in front of her.

"Our former President." She stopped her pace and Olezska did the same. "Gavin is our current President. All the things I did against Kyedoth's government, I would do it again if I had to. Death was too easy on him. From all the ridiculous things he had done in his lifetime, he should have been punished with eternal suffering instead of a simple death."

"Kyedoth's nephew is a shame to this country. Unskilled, unprepared, young, with to futuristic perspective, with no economical sense that it is needed to run a high developed nation like Qorjal." Olezska's words were sharp at the pronunciation and it was getting Angelina on her nerves. "Inner governments do not like him. Inner investors do not like him. The executives behind the corporations that sustain a big portion of the country's income do not like him. I offered this boy a chance to be taken seriously by all of these people but he kindly denied it."

"Kyedoth said a million times. The Malone family is the only one capable of running this country – so you will respect Gavin's position in it, even more now when he is part of our family. Hopefully one day he will carry our surname and Isaac will carry his. Don't you like power, Olezska? Keep thinking about it if it is what it needs to keep respect in your mind." Angelina said raising the tone of her voice a bit, but she contained her nerves better after that, continuing on her speech. "These people don't need to like him. They need to do their jobs and stop acting like spoiled children because he is not what they wanted. Gavin is on the post for only a month and in this short period he and his team were capable to stabilize the so called economy you talk so much of, which was fragile since the moment Kyedoth was killed. He exposed an entire scheme of corruption inside the places we work and gave new opportunities to new people. Not to mention an historical project to explore what Kyedoth denied us from day 1 in this planet. Why is it so difficult for you Kyedoth supporters to embrace a different kind of thinking?"
