Going back to their plane after leaving the bunker never felt so painful to Isaac. The feeling of just wanting to be around his family submerged his heart into sadness, having him quiet all the way up the highland. The boys were very cautious not to caught the attention of any other creatures, so they made the way back in peace. Whey their eyes could see clearly the leaves of the trees it meant they hit the top of the highland, where everything was calm. Droplets of snow slowly touched the ground and the black metallic surface of their armor. It was supposed for them to be invisible, but the snow was making visible the shapes of their heads and shoulders as they were on their way.
Gavin walked on front to open the sliding door of the jet, so he was ready to take the helmet off once again to use his face to unlock the door, but behind, Isaac desperately stopped him from doing so. "Stop!"
Gavin looked behind his back, seeing just Isaac standing still. He wondered what caused that reaction, but when the sensors of his suit detected motion near them, he grabbed the gun he had hanging on his body. "Quick, Isaac. What are we doing?"
"Get away from the door. Slowly."
"No, wait." Gavin said when he felt the left part of his body get hotter, like it was naturally sensing a presence nearby. The system of the suit was also sensing another body but it was not accurate enough to tell in which side they were on. Since his body had saved him countless times, Gavin decided to trust in the warm feeling he had on his skin, and he quickly opened his hands and moved around trying to grab something in the air. When his hands touched something solid, he grabbed it and pushed up in an attempt to take off from the body it was attached to. He received instant punches after doing so, but he barely felt it. Gavin remembered how the monster he fought exposed himself by taking off the helmet of his armor, and without it he was completely vulnerable, so the same would work with the soldier in front of him.
Gavin ended up ripping the helmet off aggressively, making and electrifying sound pop up in the environment. Isaac watched it from afar, afraid of what this would cause mainly because that soldier clearly didn't get there alone or by foot. While he was uncertain about it, Gavin impressively dominated the soldier who reveled to be a man, after his helmet was off. He managed to kick his ankle to make him fall, then Gavin stepped with his right foot on his head, applying pressure while he tried to get up.
"Grab his gun, Isaac. Quickly!" Gavin said and Isaac did as he told, catching the weapon which had a bit of snow on it. Isaac didn't know what type of gun he was holding, but it looked powerful and technologically advanced. The gun disappeared as Isaac touched it. He went to stand next to Gavin. "Can we talk outside the private channel?" He asked to Isaac inside their internal call.
"Just deactivate the paring between our helmets." He said and Gavin did so. He had things running on his mind about how to deal with the situation. He just hoped that it worked out well.
"You have a gun pointed to your head, so you will tell to your friends to disable the invisibility." Gavin said with his foot still applying pressure over the man's head, who didn't answer right away, just kept on the floor stealthily trying to get out of his grip.
Gavin looked to Isaac. "Shoot next to his head." Isaac hesitated at first, but after Gavin looked at him again, he took the shot right next to the man's nose. Curiously, that shot sounded different, not like the gun Gavin had would sound. Probably the bullets were modified because the man's eyes got wide and he spilled out to his team to come out instantly.
"DISABLE INVISIBILITY MASK. I REPEAT, DISABLE INVISIBILITY MASK." He screamed exasperated, having another five soldiers showing up a few meters away from them, all of the bodies holding the same weapons Isaac had in hand. The boy decided to change his position after he shot because it would help the others to locate him since he was still invisible. Gavin remained on his spot, now being the one pointing a gun to the man's head.
