The trip to Central Base of Training and Research took the Celestials two exact hours inside a floating jet. It was being a joyful moment for both boys. The views they were having up above of the natural and artificial landscape was enchanting and remarkable. Light-bluish sky, slightly cloudy and considerably warm comparing how the weather was usually. The plane they were flying on was a different model from those they ride constantly. This one was much larger and monotonous. It was a military model of a floating jet, painted outside in the color black and shaped as a circle in the contour, but the part reserved for pilot, seating and matters related had propers measurements and heights following the pattern of the aircraft. Inside, grey and solid materials dominated everything, giving the aura of commitment with its fabricator. The area reserved for seating had panoramic rectangular windows that were about one meter away from the floor, so the view of the outside was clear in any position someone might take a seat.
The boys had their privacy in the passengers circuit, having several personal guards of Gavin standing in the back of the room and other in the frontal part, where the pilot set was positioned with a human controlling it this time. Twenty people totalized that number, having ten in each side with guns and bulletproof outfits from head to toe. The chief of Gavin's security crew, Pheoder, preferred to have that line of people assuring the President's safety, even more when he was stepping into dangerous territory, which was a base of the Federal Opus, the military entity that swore to their deaths to protect and obey everything Kyedoth Malone stood for. Basically, an enemy of Kyedoth, was an Opus' enemy, and a person capable of threatening Kyedoth's superiority and status of power was his biggest adversary. The old man was now gone, but the commitment the Opus had with him would remain forever. If they were brainwashed or if they just agreed with his says, it wouldn't matter. Kyedoth's enemies would be their enemies.
It was a mystery of how things would be from that moment on. When the boys were warned that they were arriving at the Central Base, they switched a serious glance, saying a silent question, like "Are you prepared?". They didn't feel the plane touching the floor. It was a very smooth landing, and when that moment came on, they saw the dark outfit guards making a line in both sides of the exit door and the pilot walked towards the boys to tell them they arrived. Gavin and Isaac got up at the same time, fixing their clothes before walking out of the plane. Gavin wore an usual dark blue shirt, but this time with details in a discreet tone of gold, looking like the solid material in specific parts of the fabric, while the pants were in the same color, but dismissed the detailing in gold. The bottom clothing was loose in his legs and his shoes were total black and were a bit tall, so Gavin was not that short during the moment. He had the Presidential Insignia fixed in his shirt and his face had some golden adornments glued on his skin, and it matched perfectly. Isaac wore the secondary highest color, the black. His sweater was totally dark with ornamental drawings in white, having the pants and the shoes in the same color. He had metallic adornments in his face as well, but those were black and only above his left eyebrow and one contouring his right cheekbone, different than Gavin, which had in the left eyebrow as well, but a thin one in his right jawline, a discreet one below his left eye and another little piece on both his cheekbones.
When Gavin was getting out of the plane by a floating platform, just like the one he had in his house, he was very much surprised to see a giant line of guards that created a barrier between a crowd of journalists and photographers. As his figure was noticed, voices were raised and flashes started to lighten the environment. Gavin asked the guard by his side, but his eyes didn't leave the amount of people in front of him. "Who are these people on the line?"
"Those are part of our crew of guards, Mr. President." A female voice answered. All of Gavin's guards wore the same outfit, but only those who were inside the plane with him had weapons. Inside a Federal Opus' building, no one but them was allowed to hold a gun and they were respecting their requests so the meeting could proceed as peacefully as possible.
