A/N:

Ok, this was defiantly one of my favorite chapters to write. It's a fun one, so enjoy!!!😊

"Why do you look so old?" Lillian's dark eyes stared up at the new Scout. His eyes were wide as he stared down at her.

"Sorry?" He stuttered.

"I'm sorry what?"

"Sorry Lieutenant!"

"Is the question not clear Cadet? Or are you just stupid enough that you don't know it?" Lillian leaned in closer and got on her tiptoes, trying to seem bigger than she actually was.

"Lily." Levi walked over to her and pulled her back. "Stop traumatizing them, they'll get enough of that on the next recon mission."

"That's true." Lillian smiled. "I'm sorry for the way I was acting. What's your name cadet?"

"Oluo Bozado, sir!" He saluted the newly promoted captain and lieutenant.

"Weird name, but ok."

"Lily, maybe you would be more helpful helping Hange with her experiments, and not yelling at the new recruits."

"Sorry Captain, but I take orders directly from Erwin, not you. If I want to be here, you can't stop me." Lillian hit him in the shoulder as she walked past. "But I have things to do, so I'll leave."

The new Scouts couldn't help but laugh a bit as they watched the two black haired siblings, who were shorter than most of the cadets, argue with each other. The two of them weren't as well known as they would be in the future, but people had certainly heard of the deadly sibling duo.

Lillian climbed the steps up to Erwin's office and walked in. He was standing at the window watching Levi with the recruits.

"You don't really think Levi will find a good enough squad from these kids?" Lillian asked him.

"I do. A couple of them are from the top ten. In training they were inseparable, they'll work well in a team." Erwin handed her some documents. She sat down on the couch and looked through them.

"Are you serious? Oluo? This dude looks older than Levi and I. He looks older than you."

"I don't really care what he looks like." Erwin left the window and sat at his desk. "Besides, it's Levi's choice for who he picks. These were just suggestions."

"Take a joke Erwin." Lillian threw the documents back onto his desk. She rested her head on the back of the couch and rubbed her face with her hands. "This is gonna suck having to answer to you." She sighed.

"I can always strip you of your title if you don't like it."

"No, it's fine." Lillian picked her head up and looked over to Erwin who was reading the documents. She noticed the way his hand would clench up and unclench as he read. His eyes darted to her for just a second then back to the papers, a smile played on his lips, but left just as quickly as it had come.

"Why don't you go help Levi?"

"He didn't want me to help him. He said I was bullying them too much."

"Make yourself useful then and go get my dinner." He said not looking up from his papers.

"Seriously?"

"You only take orders from one person, is it that hard to follow them?"

Lillian groaned, but got up and walked to the door.

"Get yourself dinner too and feel free to join me." Erwin had finally looked up from his documents and to Lillian. His gaze was strange, it was almost like a soft glare. Lillian was unsure how else to describe it.
