Erwin knew that he would have to eat Eren from the moment he saw him on the airship. He just didn't want to accept it. Lillian loved Eren like a son. Erwin threw down his life for him time after time. And now he would kill him.

He leaned back in his chair and loosened the bolo tie around his neck. "I just want to go home." He mumbled.

But now if he ate Eren he would be branded a traitor and probably fed to the next. He knew Eren's true intentions, he had finally figured them out. But he wasn't sure what to do. Fight? That seemed to be the only thing he could do.

"Commander." A Yeagerist spoke up.

Erwin took the handkerchief off of his eyes and picked his head back up. "Has Floch and Hange returned?"

"No, not yet sir."

Fuck, Lillian will never forgive me. Erwin threw his fist down into the table. I don't think I'll ever forgive myself. He stood up from the chair and walked past the Scout.

"Where are you going Commander?" The Scout followed after him.

Erwin watched him out of the corner of his eye. Strange. "I was going to write a letter to my family." He stopped walking and turned toward the Scout. "Is that a problem?"

"No Commander." The Scout's face began to darken into a shade resembling a tomato. "I uh, was just wondering."

There was something more going on here. Do they know I plan to take Eren out? Erwin walked to his office, he couldn't help but notice that the Scout still followed but kept his distance.

Erwin walked past a large group of Scouts, one in particular catching his eye. Erwin knew that he himself had never met this man, but he connected the dots quickly.

"You." He pointed at the stranger. "Come with me."

The stranger hesitantly followed Erwin. When the two of them were both in the office, Erwin first let him sit down then closed the door behind them.

"So," Erwin started. "I think we both know why I called you in here."

"Actually, I'm not too sure, Commander."

Erwin sat down at his desk. "You can quit the act. You're the Jaw Titan, aren't you?"

The strawberry blonde's eyes went wide. But then he just shook his head and laughed. "I'm not sure what you're talking about, Commander."

"Porco, I recognized you from Reiner's memories. Your older brother was the previous Jaw Titan before Ymir." Erwin paused and watched him to gauge his reactions before continuing. "There's no need to deny it, I'm not going to tell anyone."

"Why? If you know we're here, then you know why we're here."

"I understand, but I am confident in our ability to win against Marley."

"Why is that?"

"It's been less than a month, there's no way you gathered enough resources to defeat the island. That is unless you have the Founding Titan."

"Perhaps we will soon." He raised a brow.

"Hm, well that's one we can agree on." Erwin crossed his arms together. "I'm not on the side of Marley or these Yeagerists. I'm planning on stealing the Founding Titan from Eren."

"Why?!"

"He plans on using the Rumbling for more than what we just plan, he will trample the whole world."

"How do you know that?"

"I don't, it's a haunch, a gamble." Erwin's blue eyes made contact with his light brown ones.
