"Do you even know where you're going?" Gabi cautiously asked.

"I think so." Lillian sighed. Her eyes searched the sky just above the tree line, searching for any signs of smoke. From what Mikasa had told her, Lillian figured that they wouldn't be anywhere too close to where Levi was keeping Zeke, but she also knew that at least one of them had to be injured if they hadn't left the forest. They couldn't have gone too far.

Erwin was asleep on Lillian's shoulder. He had stayed up for as long as he could, but his exhaustion from his battle with Eren had finally caught up. Gabi was on the other horse with a now awake Falco. They hadn't broken it to him yet that he was now the Jaw Titan. Lillian and Gabi both agreed it would be better once they found Hange and Levi and they could do it in private.

They had been riding on the outskirts of the forest for about an hour now, and there was still no sign of Hange and Levi. Lillian was beginning to get frustrated. If Erwin was awake, it would be a little more tolerable, but now she was stuck as a fugitive of the Military with two kids and a husband that was basically dead to the world at the moment. All she wanted was to go home to her kids. She wondered if they missed her as much as she missed them.

The sound of a gun going off made the horses skittish. Lillian followed the sound over into the forest. Another shot went off, this one closer to the group.

It was a risk, Lillian didn't know with 100% certainty, but she took it. "Hange!"

She heard the gun cock, then she heard a shift. Out from one of the trees Hange stepped forth. Tears of relief lining her tired eye. "I don't think I've ever been more relieved to see you, Lil."

Lillian kicked her horse forward, with Gabi and Falco following close behind on theirs. Hange took a look at the group. Gabi and Falco, the kids from Marley were now in Lillian's care it seemed. Hange would have also included Erwin, but he was dead asleep.

"Something quite terrible must have happened, huh?" Hange joked. She of course just like every other Eldian had heard Eren's message to the world.

Lillian chuckled. "You got that right." Her eyes searched the trees behind Hange, any second Levi should be popping out and calling her husband lazy or something for sleeping.

Hange followed Lillian's hopeful gaze and sighed sadly. "I'll take you to him."

Lillian nodded and followed Hange on horseback. A ball of nerves was sitting uncomfortably in her stomach as they got closer. It only worsened when she saw a familiar figure laying on the ground.

Hange helped Lillian get Erwin down from the saddle. Then Falco and Gabi. Lillian walked slowly over to her brother. His face and hands were bandaged up, Lillian could only assume he was injured in more places, but the blanket covered the rest of his body.

"Levi." Lillian pushed her brother's hair out of his face.

"Lily." He groaned, and his eyes trailed down to her ODM gear. "Please tell me you weren't fighting?"

She chuckled. "I was."

Levi rolled his eyes. "Of course you were."

"Don't give me that shit, I'm not the one laying in bandages." Lillian sighed and stood up. "For once, get some rest."

She walked back over to Hange who was sitting beside Erwin's sleeping body. She touched the side of his face then let out a long sigh.

"Hange I don't know what to do. I don't know how to stop him."

"I don't know either." Hange admitted quietly.

"It was our fault for doing this." Lillian finally let the tears fall down her face. "It was all our fault."
