Erwin sat in a chair next to their bed, reading. Lillian was taking up the whole bed. Thanks to her many pillows she used to try and make herself comfortable and that she spread out, there wasn't much room for Erwin. Her stomach rose and fell accompanying the sound of her heavy snores. Between the dreams and Lillian taking up more than half the bed, he never slept. The circles under his eyes were dark, and he swore that his hair was falling out at an abnormal amount. But when he looked down at his wife, he understood why he was going to be ok that he didn't sleep. Lillian saved his life with Reiner and the serum, and now she was having their child.

She was probably more uncomfortable than he was. Erwin would never say this to his poor wife, but she was huge. She was always a petite woman, and she never seemed to gain any weight despite living on the surface for six years. But now that she was pregnant she had finally gained some weight, Erwin knew she needed it, but Lillian wasn't as sure.

"You're awake again before me?" Lillian yawned, climbing out from her nest of pillows.

"I am." Erwin lied. He got no sleep anyway. But instead of making it a big deal Erwin moved from the chair and sat next to her. He pulled his wife into his arms and gave her a good morning kiss. "How are my girls?"

Lillian chuckled. "How do you think our son will feel when he finds out that his father was adamant about him being a girl?"

"I think it's a girl." Erwin put his hand next to hers on her stomach.

"I know you do. But this baby isn't growing inside of you. I know more than you." Lillian stated matter-of-factly. She rubbed her stomach, trying to soothe her kicking child. "This baby is kicking me so much it has to be a boy."

"No. She's just going to be like her mother, she's never going to be able to sit still."

Lillian and Erwin had been arguing about this for weeks. Each of them was convinced that the baby would be the opposite gender. So when it came to what the name was going to be, or anything else on the matter of their baby's gender, it would start a "fight" every single time.

"Come on, Lily is the mother, she knows what the baby is going to be, it's going to be a boy." Hange defended Lillian. They all sat around the table sharing breakfast together and treading up the argument again.

"No, I'm with Erwin on this one." Levi sat next to his brother-in-law on one side of the table, while the girls sat on the other side.

"What?" Hange and Lillian gasped.

"You heard me." Levi took a sip of tea.

Hange slammed her fist on the table. "You always side with your sister, how can you not now?"

Levi's bored eyes seemed to look right through Hange. "Because I don't think it's a boy. Simple as that. I think Lily knows that too, she just won't admit it."

His sister's face began to turn a dark red. Now Levi had done it. Everyone seemed to forget that Lillian was becoming more prone to getting pissed off. She hated it, it felt like she was going crazy.

"You know nothing, Levi! It's a boy."

"Lily." Despite how easy it seemed for Lillian's emotions get the best of her nowadays, Erwin would always be there with his gentle voice and his soft touch, reassuring his wife that she wasn't crazy.

With just her name being said, she calmed down. She put a hand on her stomach and shoved another piece of bread into her mouth. Hange put her hand next to Lillian's.

"He's kicking a lot, huh?"

"Yeah. Yesterday he kicked me right in the bladder and I think I peed myself a little."
