Gabi and Falco were two Eldians from the internment zone in Marley. Gabi was the one who had shot Sasha, she and Falco were warrior canadiantes, both of them skilled enough to inherit one of the nine titans. But they were also just kids.

"You want me to watch them?" Lillian whispered, not wanting the two kids to hear her.

Jean shrugged. "What they did was wrong, but they are still only children. I don't think it's fair to keep them in a cell." He ran his hand through his hair, stopping at the base of his head. "If anyone can deal with these two I figured it would be you."

Lillian chuckled. "I already have five children, how bad can it be adding two more?" She pulled her arms around her chest, hugging herself tightly. "Are you doing ok?"

"Not really." Jean sighed. "What about you?"

"I'm fine. Sadly there's too much for me to worry about at the moment. I feel like I don't have any time to mourn for Sasha."

"We're having a memorial for her, you should come."

"I would like that." Lillian stared at Jean for a moment longer before finally working up the courage to go introduce herself. She walked up to the two children in the other room. Both of them sat on the couch. The blonde haired boy was calm, but certainly not comfortable where he was. The girl on the other hand, the brunette, was not as calm. Her eyes were wide, crazed even. She gritted her teeth, muttering something under her breath.

"You must be Falco." Lillian smiled down at the boy. He picked his head up and forced a smile back at her. "And you must be Gabi."

"Don't talk to me, Island Devil." Gabi said between gritted teeth.

Lillian took a step back. She wasn't scared, she just wanted to give Gabi her space. "That's no way to talk to an adult, especially one that's gracious enough to let you stay in their house instead of some cold cell underground."

The young girl's grimace only deepened as she processed what Lillian said. "I would rather be in a cell then stay in the home of an Island Devil!"

"No," Falco interrupted her. "She doesn't mean what she says! It was a very generous offer to let us stay in your home."

"There is no way in hell I'm stay in an-"

"Let me guess, Island Devil?" Lillian rolled her eyes. "If you are going to keep insulting me then become more original."

"Like she said," Jean spoke up, standing behind her. "It's staying with her or in the cells."

"The cells." Gabi answered.

Lillian smiled and walked up to the young girl. "Have you ever slept in a basement?"

Gabi shook her head no.

"Well it's not too bad, it's cold, but it's not terrible. The cells however, are ever deeper than a usual basement. I know how horrible it is to be stuck downstairs, I grew up in a city underground. That's why I'm so short, I didn't grow like I was supposed to. Sure, living in the cells for a week isn't terrible, but until we figure out what to do with you kids, we'll have to keep you there. So, it could be months." She stood back to where she originally was. "So, a cell or my house?"

Gabi shared a look with Falco. She hesitantly nodded her head so slightly that Lillian could barely tell that she shook it.

"Good!" Lillian forced a smile. She wasn't happy about having to deal with these two, but perhaps she could change their view on this island and its so-called devils. "You should meet my children, none of them are your age, Dimitri is the oldest and he's only seven."
