Lillian turned around to help Erwin, zipping towards him as fast as she could. But due to her only focusing on Erwin, she failed to notice another jaw come up behind her. Levi pushed her out of the way before she was eaten.

"Damn it, Lillian! Pay attention!"

"Levi! Are you ok?"

"I'm fine! We need to get Armin back. That's our only path through this. Otherwise, we'll all die here for nothing!"

"Right!"

"Don't focus on Erwin, he'll be alright. He can hold his own."

Lillian nodded and looked over to her left. The two Jaws were hanging onto the bones, scoping out their targets. Her green eyes widened as she recognized one of them. It was the Warrior that was the Jaw before Falco. Her head turned slowly to see the Armored Titan that was charging towards Erwin.

"Reiner!" Connie shouted at the familiar Armored Titan.

Erwin was in the middle of already fighting a different Armored Titan. It would be a bitch to deal with two of them at once. He let out a sigh from inside his titan body and smiled sadly. "Looks like my sins are catching up with me again."

"Commander!" Jean yelled. Erwin held the Armored that was attacking him down, giving Jean an opportunity to kill it with his thunder spear. Instead of fighting Reiner's old titan he threw him over his shoulder, leaving him with the two Jaws. He ran to the back of the Founding Titan.

Lillian, Levi, Connie, Mikasa, and Jean all followed him, killing any titan they needed to in their path. Lillian didn't want to count her luck too soon, but with all of these titans being one of the Nine, it was going easier than she thought. Whether it was an Attack, Female, Beast, or Cart they were all killing them the same. The Jaws and Armored were a little more difficult, however.

But their luck changed quickly when suddenly a familiar Colossal started to form above them. It grabbed Erwin. Lillian felt her heart stop as she watched his head go into his mouth. She flew up, trying to save him as best she could.

"Erwin!" She screamed for him. Just before his head had been bitten off, Erwin escaped his titan. His hand reached out for Lillian. She used her gear to push herself forward, but still she fell short. Erwin was beginning to fall. He hit the trigger on his gear, but it was doing nothing.

That same sinking feeling returned to her chest. The one that twisted her stomach and made it feel like something was stuck in her throat. It made her eyes water and her head hurt. She had felt this two times before. Once when Erwin had lost his arm, and another time was all those years ago in Shiganshina, when her almost dead husband was laying in her arms.

With barely any time to think, Lillian shot her ODM gear towards him. It lodged into his stomach, Lillian pulled herself closer towards him. She grabbed his hand once she was near enough and pulled the hook from his stomach. It was a risk, but he would heal. Her other hand shot her ODM gear towards the bones. The line tightened, but it held both of them. They were both now suspended over the sea of Colossal Titans, under the Founding Titan.

Everyone else was doing just as terrible as them. Bertholdt's old Colossal had thrown the remains of Erwin's Armored, shaking the whole skeleton. That caused most of them to fall down under the Founding Titan just like Lillian and Erwin.

"Lillian..." Erwin let out a heavy breath. His stomach hurt like crazy, but it was already healing.

"I'm so sorry." Tears fell down Lillian's face and landed on Erwin's face. "I can't pull us up. My lever isn't working, I think it's too much weight for my gear." She already knew Erwin's gear wasn't working.
