Song: POV, Ariana Grande
Another season came and went. Summer turned to fall and then fall turned to winter. As the weather got colder Lillian and Erwin's excitement only grew. They would be married soon. Lillian and Hange had been scouring the Trost district for a dress, even though it would be a small wedding Lillian still wanted something special. Everything was almost ready. Everything but-
"We don't have rings." Erwin said to her.
"That's ok, we don't need any." Lillian put a hand on his shoulder, trying to calm him. It was Erwin who did most of the planning. Lillian said she was fine with just winging it, but Erwin said he wanted it to be perfect for her.
"We are getting married, of course we need rings."
"We're not even going to be able to wear them. We don't need people knowing we're married, and we don't need the rings falling off while using ODM gear."
"I still think we should get some."
Lillian stared at him for a moment, thinking. Her hands played with the familiar object she always kept in her pocket.
"Ok fine. But let me handle it."
"Deal."
Lillian walked through the snow dusted streets of Trost. She had her cloak wrapped tightly around her and her gloves on. Yet despite being covered head to toe a familiar face still managed to recognize her.
"Lil."
"Mike. What's up?"
"Nothing much. What are you doing out here? I don't think I've ever seen you go shopping by yourself." Mike said as he fell into step with Lillian.
"Well to be honest, Erwin and I completely forget about rings. I didn't care as much as he did, but I put myself in charge of making some."
"Making some?"
Lillian nodded. "I have something very special in mind."
"Can I help?"
Lillian turned her bundled head to look at him. He smiled down at her.
"Actually." Lillian grabbed his hand and removed the glove he was wearing to inspect it. "How much bigger are your hands than Erwin's?"
"I'm not sure," Mike pulled his hand away. "That's a weird question to ask."
"I'm only asking because I just realized that I don't know how big I need to make Erwin's ring."
"I did offer my help." Mike sighed. "I will admit this is kinda strange. You and I never hang out with each other alone."
"You and I don't have much in common." Lillian looped her arm through his, pulling him closer. "Let's talk."

The day before the wedding Hange made Erwin and Lillian separate for the day and night. She said they would be spending enough time together after tomorrow, and they should spend some time alone to rethink what they were about to do. She had said that last part jokingly of course, but still scared Lillian more than it should have.
So once Lillian had eaten her dinner and the night turned dark, she decided to pack up the couple things she owned. It was strange to think that this would be the last night she spent by herself, in this room. It surprised Lillian that she didn't feel anything towards it. She knew she should, but she didn't. Maybe if the circumstances were different and she was leaving a loving home with a family that would be there with her at her wedding, then she would be sad. But this was just some room that was a couple doors down from the room she would be moving to. So when she turned around to look at her mostly empty room, she felt nothing for it.
