A/N:

Ok y'all lets crank up "Under the Tree" cause I think we all know what's happening in this chapter.

When the smoke cleared, and they all had their heads again they looked out to see the damage Armin had caused. Those large bones that they had once called a battlefield were scattered across the place.

"Does this mean? Eren is...dead?" Jean asked.

Mikasa winced from a headache. "That can't be..."

Lillian cautiously walked over to Mikasa and put a hand on her shoulder. "What's wrong?"

"Nothing." Mikasa shook her head and retracted from Lillian's touch.

The Scouts watched as Gabi, Falco, Annie, and Pieck all ran to be with their families. Lillian helped Levi up, slinging his arm over her shoulder, and wrapped her arm around his back.

"How's your leg?"

"Terrible."

"Yeah, I don't know what sort of response I was expecting." Lillian's heart clenched in her chest. "No one has seen Erwin yet, have they?"

Jean and Connie both shook their heads, no. The five of them turned to look out for their two friends. They hadn't seen Erwin or Armin yet. Out in the distance both Erwin and Armin shook off the thick layer of dirt that had covered them.

Lillian smiled and her eyes filled with tears. Erwin was still alive. "ERWIN!" Lillian screamed for him.

"Hey! Look over there!" Connie pointed at the same worm Erwin had been fighting earlier. It was climbing up the butte, towards them. "It's still alive, even after taking the blast?!"

"What on earth is it?" Jean asked.

"Beats me. But I know we can't let it live." Levi sighed. The battle wasn't over quite yet.

Another Colossal size explosion came from behind Armin and Erwin.

Jean groaned. "Well, that figures. I didn't think that'd be enough to kill you."

"Yeah...but what do we do?" Connie asked.

Emerging from the explosion was Eren's newest titan. A Colossal Titan, about the same size as Armin's. He had the same head as the Founder, the same long hair.

Gabi's panicked voice came from behind them. "This is bad! If the glowing thing and Eren come into contact, the rumbling might start again!"

"Yeah. We gotta kill it."

"It survived Armin's transformation. How can we kill something like that?" Lillian was more than a little tired, she wanted this to be over, she wanted to see the kids again, she wanted to be in Erwin's arms again.

"We should target Eren." Levi spoke up. "You've caught on, right. This nightmare won't end until we take him down."

The Warriors said goodbye to the families they had just been reunited with.

"Why did it turn out this way?" Mikasa cried, she held her head as another headache came over her.

The Armored Titan ran towards the butte, towards that glowing worm thing. The worm stopped its ascent up the butte, long enough to let out some sort of steam.

"Did it die?"

"No... It doesn't smell like when titans die." Connie's face went pale. "Could it be...what if it's like the stuff that was used on Ragako Village?"

Levi didn't waste a second. "Mikasa! Pieck! Get on Falco! We're getting out of here!"

"What are you talking about?" Pieck asked.
