Lillian was up before Erwin, which was a rare occurrence, especially this late in her pregnancy. After Erwin's first transformation his restless nights stopped. Lillian's snoring still kept him up most nights, but now he wasn't troubled by nightmares.

"Are you ok, my love?" Erwin sat behind her; one hand rubbed her stomach while the other grabbed her hand.

Lillian let out a shaky breath. "Yeah, I'm just getting some cramps."

Erwin kissed her shoulder. "Nothing too bad?"

"No, it passed anyway." Lillian leaned down, laying down in Erwin's lap. "I wish you wouldn't leave today."

"I'm sorry I have to go to Ehrmich." Erwin leaned down and kissed her lips, then her stomach. "I love you, my little girl." He whispered into her stomach.

Lillian laughed, knowing he'd say that just to rile her up. "Our little boy. Poor thing. Your father is such a bully to you."

Erwin rubbed her stomach, trying to soothe their kicking child. "She's extra excited today, huh?"

"He is rowdy today."

Once the two of them finally found the motivation to get up, Erwin was quick to get ready for his day at work. Lillian helped him get dressed and sent him out of their home with some food to share with the others.

That same cramp feeling came back to Lillian. She rubbed her stomach and breathed through it.

"Why did Commander Erwin want us to come all the way back down to Trost again?" Connie groaned.

"We're running a quick errand, quit your complaining." Levi snapped.

"I'm hungry!" Sasha whined.

"Well lucky for you I was planning on stopping by Lily and Erwin's. I'm sure Lily will be more than happy to see you two, and I'm sure she'll have some sort of lunch ready."

"Does she know we're coming over?" Connie asked.

"No. But she won't mind us dropping in. There's only one thing I'll warn you two about." Levi stopped his horse in front of Lillian and Erwin's small house. It was just outside of Trost, just a couple minutes from the gate. The house wasn't exactly what they wanted, but it was only temporary. Once Wall Maria was deemed titan-less, then the two of them would move there.

"Lily is very pregnant right now, so unless you're going to comment about how pretty she looks, don't make a comment." Levi stared Connie down.

"Understood Captain." Connie smiled nervously.

The three Scouts got off their horses and walked them towards the back. There, they were surprised to see Lillian attempting to grab her horse from the small paddock.

"Lily what the hell are you doing?" Levi quickly handed his horse's reins to Sasha and ran to Lillian's side.

"I need Erwin." She panted out.

"Why? What's wrong?" As soon as Levi asked the question he understood why that was a stupid question. He took the bridle from Lillian's hand and looped an arm behind her back. "Let's get you inside."

"No!" Lillian tried to push him away. "I need to get Erwin." Her whole face contorted in pain as another contraction came over her.

"You're going inside." Levi told his sister. "You," he looked to Connie. "Leave your horse and mine, take Lillian's to Ehrmich and get Erwin."

"Sir!" Connie quickly got to work, putting his and Levi's horses away while he saddled up Lillian's. Levi took Lillian inside, Sasha was trailing behind the two.
