A Little Bit Human (Erwin x OC)

44: Old Story

As the hours passed and both Lillian and Erwin were done with their interrogations, eventually the MPs left. And for just a minute the two were alone again.

"You didn't say anything during your interrogation, did you?" Erwin asked.

"Of course not. I just mostly sassed him."

Erwin kissed the top of her head. "That's my girl."

"That's it?" She looked up at Erwin with wide eyes. Erwin could never resist her when she did that. He bent down and kissed her lips. "What's the plan?"

Erwin knelt down in front of her, his hand resting on her leg. "You aren't going to like it."

"I know to expect the unexpected with you." She ran his fingers through his hair. With every stroke Erwin felt himself falling into her more. Lillian's fingers ran down his neck and to his shirt, starting to unbutton it. "It's late, and now that the MPs are gone we should get some rest."

The door flew up. Erwin moved away from Lillian, stanioning himself on the opposite end of the room. Hange and Moblit enterened, Hange's eyes darting between the two.

"Our situation just got worse! I have two things to report, Commander. First, Eren and Historia have been abducted by the enemy."

Erwin turned towards them, re-buttoning what Lillian had just unbuttoned.

"Three of my squad were killed in the fighting. I'm about to meet Captain Levi and follow up on a lead he might have as to their current whereabouts." Hange unfolded a piece of paper.

"Understood. What else?"

"Eren remembered a conversation he overheard between Ymir and Bertholdt. But, if this is actually true, then- Shit. I feel like my head's gonna explode."

Both Lillian and Moblit rushed to Hange's side while Erwin poured her a glass of water.

"What is it Hange?" Lillian asked, holding her hand out to read the letter.

"What's the problem?" Erwin handed the cup to Hange. She gulped the whole glass down in one breath.

Hange handed her the letter. "Unless we recover him quickly, Eren will be devoured." Just as Hange said the words Lillian had read them.

"We can't ever have a break can we?" Lillian asked. She walked over to the shelf, expecting her ODM gear to be there. "Damn MPs." She muttered.

"Lillian, I want you to leave with Hange. I'm sure she'll be able to find some ODM gear for you." Erwin said.

"Moblit and I can handle this." Hange looked from Erwin to Lillian. "I would rather have the Lieutenant stay here with you. I think you need more help than we need."

"Eren might get devoured. As much as I want to stay here with Erwin, I can still help!" Lillian argued.

Hange put a hand on Lillian's shoulder. "Stay here. Moblit and I, or someone else will probably be back. If we need you then we'll grab you."

"As long as Erwin is ok with it."

Erwin nodded.

"Take care of him, Lillian."

"Take care of yourself." Lillian pulled Hange into a hug.

"You have fun with Erwin." Hange raised her hand, ready to slap Lillian's ass. Erwin grabbed Hange's wrist before it hit Lillian.

"Is that really the time for this?" Erwin asked.

"Only takes a second." Hange crossed her arms. "You're just angry because I'm taking your job away from you."
