Ok, imma say this in advance. I fucked up with this chapter. I didn't realize that this expedition didn't happen until a couple years later. But I had already written this chapter, so enjoy even tho it's wrong.

The snow melted and the flowers began to sprout. With the change in weather it was time for scouting missions again.

"Ah man, this bites. Why can't they open it now!" Hange complained. "Oh by the way Levi-"

"The answer is no." Levi interrupted her.

"But I haven't asked you anything yet."

"You were about to ask me if I could help you catch a titan. And that's way more trouble than I care to go through."

"Then what about you Mike? Wanna help me?"

Mike didn't say anything, instead he just turned away from Hange.

"Lil? What about you?" Hange called out to Lillian just as she was riding her horse past the three of them.

"If you're talking about catching titans, then no. Erwin needs me in his squad."

Hange smirked. "I'm sure he does, huh?"

"Fuck off Hange." Lillian blushed and rode her horse over to where Erwin's squad was stationed.

Erwin yelled out as the gate began to rise. His horse reared up and galloped out of the walls. "Scouts move out!"

The rest of them rode behind him. Except one. Hange rode ahead of Erwin, whooping as she did so.

"Hange wait!" Erwin looked behind him to Lillian. She nodded, understanding what he was saying without him saying anything.

Hange's squad was riding forward to catch up with their Section Commander. Lillian rode in front of them and stopped them from going further.

"Hange's squad! Ride with me! We will not break formation."

"What about Hange?" Moblit asked Lillian.

"She's not following orders, and we have a formation to keep in tact."

It took longer than usual to see a titan. Lillian saw three to their right. She ordered Moblit to signal off a flare. The group moved closer into the formation. Lillian had never wished more to not be here. She was supposed to be with Erwin, but Hange had to be crazy obsessed with titans instead.

"Hey Lil!"

Speak of the devil, and she shall come. 

"Hange, finally. You're back to claim your squad?"

"Not exactly. I'm here for that beauty." Hange pointed to a five meter that was running straight towards them.

"That one?"

"Yeah!"

"Ok!" Lillian turned her horse and rode towards the titan. Hange followed close by.

"And here I was thinking that you're just as lame as Levi and Mike." Hange watched with a smile as Lillian neared the titan. But her smile quickly fell when she watched Lillian deploy her ODM gear and slash through its nape.

"I thought you were helping me?"

"No, I'm not." Lillian got back onto her horse and rode back to the group. "You rode off, breaking the formation. So someone had to keep it intact."
