Furlan looked over at a red-faced Lily. She was hunched over a piece of fabric, taking out the stitches she had just sewn in.
"You ok?" Furlan leaned back in his seat, it was always funny to see her angry.
"Ugh! Why can't I sew?"
Furlan got up from his seat and sat next to her, his arm draped on the couch behind her. "Can I see it?"
Lillian nodded, and handed the fabric to him.
Furlan gasped.
"What?!"
"It's not that bad." Furlan laughed. "These things take practice, you aren't going to get it on the first try."
"I've been trying to do this for two years."
Furlan laughed again.
"Lieutenant!" Hannes was out of his saddle and in the air, catching Lillian before she fell to the ground.
Lillian groaned; her left side was on fire. "Glad you aren't drunk this time."
Hannes chuckled. "That was five years ago, I can't believe you remember." He landed back on his horse, with Lillian holding on behind him.
Lillian lifted her cloak, horrified to see a red blot growing. Tears welled up in her eyes from the pain. "Fuck."
"You ok?" Hannes looked behind him, catching a sight of her blood-soaked shirt. "Shit."
"I'm fine." Lillian pulled her cloak back over. "Where are the kiddos?"
"Up there."
On top of the Armored, most of the 104th Cadet Corps were attempting to talk to Bertholdt.
"Guys! Get down from there and take cover! What the hell is Erwin doing?" Hannes said. "He's off his rocker! Look! The lunatic's leading the titans straight for us!" Ahead of them, Erwin and his squad were leading a group of titans straight towards the Armored.
Lillian smiled. "I love that man." She wished she could be as brave as him.
Hannes chuckled. "So the rumors are true, aren't they?"
"Yes." Lillian looked behind her then whistled. "He is my everything, my husband." A horse rode up besides Hannes'. Lillian jumped off of his horse and onto the riderless one.
She hurt so much. Her whole body. She was losing blood. But she needed to go on, for Erwin and Eren.
"Jump, damn you! Get the hell out of there!" Hannes yelled to the kids again. They all listened this time and deployed their ODM gear, getting back on their horses.
"Squads break! Make the titans scatter!" Erwin ordered.
Reiner braced for impact, barreling through the crowd of titans. But there were too many. The Armored Titan gave out a roar as they were swarmed.
"What's going on? Is this hell?" Jean muttered.
"Not yet. But it will be." Erwin sped past him, on his horse. "All soldiers charge! We've come to the moment of truth! Mankind's fate is decided now!" Erwin raised his blade high in the air. "There is no future in which we reclaim these lands without Eren and there never will be! Go! Recover Eren from the Armored Titan and retreat!"
Erwin hit his fist into his chest, his horse rearing as he let out his battle cry. "Your hearts and souls to the cause!"
Mikasa and Lillian were the first to ride forward. If anything, Lillian only did it to catch up to Erwin. A chorus of yells came from every Scout and Garrison soldier, while the MPs looked on, confused as to why they were still fighting.
