"Hey Horikita-senpai, that was some good running."
"Shizukana, hm, admittedly, I didn't go as fast as I wanted to."
"And by that, do you mean as fast as me?"
He glared at me, and I shivered.
Yeah, I'm faster than you, now we know I'm stronger physically, I bet you're reeling to find out.
About who would win if we tried to take each other down.
"But, I'm not here for that. I have a favour to ask."
"A favour to ask me? Now what could that be?"
He seemed suspicious of my intentions, rightfully so, we both are aware of what I'm capable of.
"It's really something simple, I just want you to talk with someone."
"Oh?"
I narrowed my eyes.
"I'm serious, a regular talk, a proper heart-to-heart. She needs it."
"This someone you're talking about."
"Horikita-chan, your younger sister."
He immediately turned away.
"I refuse."
"Horikita-senpai, I'm not asking. You know she needs it as well. Your words have caused her to act differently then she should. I can tell you care about her, and yet you manipulated her to be just like you."
I saw him clench his teeth at my words, gripping his fists.
"I didn't ask for that, I didn't mean to do that."
"Then fix it. That kind of way of living isn't suitable for someone like her, it's unsightly. You know you did something wrong, but aren't looking to make things better. Telling her to leave the school? Saying you're disappointed in her? What's wrong with you? What kind of an older brother says that to their younger sister? Who cares if you were trying to look out for her, you're making things worse."
He turned back towards me, glaring at me.
"What do you know? You don't know anything about her."
I marched up to him, grabbing a fistful of his jersey.
"And what about you!? What do you know about her? Two years since the last time you've seen her, what's the first thing you said to her?"
He looked down.
"Huh? What was the first thing you said to her?"
He looked away, mumbling something, and I frowned.
"I see. How do you really feel about her?"
"She's my precious little sister, who always smiled and made friends with everyone."
"Do you realize what you turned her into?"
"...I do."
"Then what are you going to do now?"
He brought a hand up, gripping my wrist.
"Fine, I'll go talk to her."
I smiled.
"Alright, make sure she knows clearly."
He sighed, letting go of my wrist as I let go of his jersey.
"Fine."
"I mean it, or I'll wipe out that executioner in the second year. After all, I'm sure your glad he's changing some of the rules you made, huh?"
