I sighed as I received some help getting out of my room and into the elevator.
To keep things brief, I'd gone to the hospital yesterday, and after some examination it was decided that I went into a state of shock for reasons unknown to me, though the doctors there speculated that it was from some sort of deep-rooted trauma that I'd subconsciously kept locked away.
However because of my persistent nagging that I was fine, they discharged me on the condition that I was under constant watch until I was clearly better.
As for that last part, my body is currently feeling pretty heavy.
They figured it was likely because of some sort of muscle memory, that the shock I went through has my body acting on its own, remaining almost unresponsive to my commands.
It feels like I have massive weights on my legs and arms, and over my chest and back as well.
"Thanks Kiyo." I mumbled.
He knew I could walk around fine, kinda, but for the sake of the doctor's orders Ayanokoji was wheeling me around in a wheelchair.
Apparently I'll be receiving calls at listed times to check up on me and report my condition, as he's the friend I called in to help watch over me.
While it is a bit annoying having to just sit around like this, I'm finding that I kind of enjoy being pampered.
"You're helping yourself in the bathroom, and changing."
Ayanokoji had drawn that line at the beginning, and I complied.
"Ah, you've been preparing right? You took the Academic test correct?"
If I remember right Ayanokoji signed up for both the Academic test as well as the Physical one.
"Yeah, you've been busy with that, is it difficult?"
"Only a little bit, you shouldn't have problems with it, knowing you."
The Academic test is held at the beginning of class.
Chabashira had allowed us the day to conduct our tests, since there was nothing else that we needed to study for, and lessons were pretty much wrapped up already.
At this point we're just waiting for the second year to start.
When the elevator opened again, Ayanokoji rolled me out, and I had to constantly reassure others that saw me or had heard about what happened.
"You are okay right?"
And then Horikita asked that rather straightforwardly, having appeared from nowhere as she walked alongside Ayanokoji.
"I'm fine Horikita-chan, really. I can make arrangements to change that one portion of the Physical test."
"Good. So what happened exactly?"
I smiled to myself.
I'd been insistent on the fact that I wasn't sure what had caused me to go into shock, both to the doctors as well as others who had asked the same thing Horikita did just now.
However, Horikita spoke in a way that proved to me there was nothing I could say that would convince her I was unaware of what the cause was.
I doubt she'll be persistent enough to ask again if I decided to mess around, so I chose to be truthful.
"It's about my past." I responded honestly.
"I figured, you always seem to dance around that topic, don't you? Though based on how you're acting now you didn't make any sort of major discovery yet, is that right?"
